Love it! Good food and service. Sasha served us well. We will be coming back!
Really disappointing, 70$ for Wednesday takeout for completely unpalatable seared yellowtail roll and soggy gyoza, other 3 rolls were mid at best
I was blown away by the service. Just phenomenal. Would recommend. Food was great. I liked but did not love the mochi.
Sushi was better than the katsu
Dangerous mistake.
I called ahead to ask if I was allowed to do a pickup order with a sesame allergy, they said yes of course. I wrote a note for each item on the online ordering system “SESEAME ALLERGY” and it shows printed clearly on the receipt. When I picked up, I made sure one final time to ask the manager to make sure there was no sesame, he promised there wasn’t. I drove all the way back home, and whatdoyaknow… sesame seeds everywhere. You’d think they’d want to save money by using less ingredients?
What’s worse is we had been emailing back and forth and they decided to just stop replying to me.
Do you understand I could have died? Do you know how much EpiPens cost? They don’t care.
The food is good, but the music is loud.
I ordered a salmon hand roll ($11), which demonstrated their lack of skills in rolling, as the seaweed was poorly wrapped. The fish lacked the white fatty marbling, making it seem more like orange-fish than salmon. My first bite was reminiscent of seasoned mercury.
Really good food at reasonable prices! Husband and I stopped by for a quick bite in the afternoon. Sushi was fresh and the chicken katsu portion was larger than I expected (a nice surprise!) our server was also wonderful. A very nice quick stop overall. I will be back!
last time it was sushi taco suprise me , this time is the uni sushi! it doesnt only look good, it taste good and very fresh! definitely gonna come back soon
Food poisoning twice from this place. Way too overpriced.
Very nice sushi, and incredible service. I was lucky enough to stumble across this place during happy hour 3:30-6:30 and got this entire plate for just $19. Thank you Alena for your help and for going above and beyond to meet my needs. I will be back!

A GEM sushi restaurant in the DMV. Ambience of the space was great with high ceilings and two floors for seating. Sushi chef was so cool he gave me a nod and a smile as I walked in. Ask for Christian, bro is so chill and one of the best servers i’ve had in a very long time. Will come back soon
My friend and I visited this sushi place on a whim and ended up having a great time. We were lucky to have Amy to be the waitress for our first experience, she patiently helped us through the menu and made spot on recommendations which were delicious.
Because of a big thunderstorm, the power went out and even that didn't deter us from having a great time thanks to Amy.
TLDR: Good food, solid atmosphere, ask for Amy.

Had a fantastic time here. Amy made us feel welcome and did a great job in recommending us the sushi boat/cold sake combo. Would definitely visit again!

I recently dined at Kusshi Sushi and love this place. My husband ordered a small sushi boat and every piece of sushi was fresh, beautifully presented and bursting with favor. I loved the Cherry Blossom Roll - tasty, fresh, and expert preparation. I watched the chef making the sushi boat. What a beautiful art work. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing and the service was exceptional. The price was reasonable for the quality, making a great value. I highly recommend kusshi to sushi lovers.
