I've driven by Madeleine Proust so many times and never noticed it! A cute little madeleine bakery, I love all the different flavors offered - there's something for everyone. I also love that they have gluten free options! The cookies are the perfect amount of sweet, not too sugary but just sweet enough (as an Asian American, this is the highest compliment I can give for a dessert, iykyk). I got a matcha madeleine, earl gray madeleine, financier almond madeleine, and a gluten free one. I will be back to try more flavors!

Been eyeing madeleine proust on Yelp for a while now and finally decided to go and let me tell you I'll be back! When you first walk in you will notice a table full of their baked goods which makes it hard to choose from But, if you have a hard time choosing what to get they offer an assortment box! Which made my life easier. The first one I tried was their matcha flavor and I was speechless! It was the perfect not to sweet treat I needed and I can't wait to try the rest!

Stopped here after lunch in Vienna. Have tried the salted caramel Madeline and it was delicious. Fluffy, with caramel inside and a hint of salt. It's the perfect combination. Also bought the chocolate, almond, lemon and an almond financier. Can't wait to try them all! It's the cutest shop with a teal glossy floor that shines and adds the best character. Saw they are also at the Vienna farmers market on Saturday's. Highly recommend!!

I found out about Madeleine Proust at the Vienna Farmers Market. Got one of their sampler boxes and have been obsessed ever since! I love the madeleines here, they are not dry at all and there is a variety of different flavors. My personal favorites are the salted caramel madeleines and the coconut financier. Everything is packaged so nicely too so these would make good gifts as well. Highly recommend checking this place out!

I have always loved Madeline, but it hasn't been easy to find a good one in the area; stopping by on one of the Saturday afternoons and tried the earl gray one, and it was terrific; I got a few more with different flavors to try. I love the tea flavor of pastry and wish they could customize made the chiffon cake in such a flavor , will keep this place on my to go list for cakes and pastries.

Cute shop! Stopped by this afternoon but unfortunately the cakes were all sold out. Grabbed a bag of cookies and they were delicious. Tasted like something you’d enjoy in Europe. Definitely can’t wait to try the cake.

My husband got both the strawberry and chocolate chiffon cake for my birthday. They were so wonderful. Just the right amount, fresh, and amazingly tasty. My son even asked for the strawberry chiffon cake for his birthday!I also am a huge fan of Madeleine cookies and the big box with all the flavors was too fun! We will be returning.

Cute little bakery in town of Vienna! It's in the same plaza as Clarity. I needed to get a cake nearby for a small gathering and gave them a call right at opening on a Saturday to confirm what kind of cakes they had available. Then I went in few hours later and they were almost all sold out :( I saw some cakes were unavailable Bc someone had reserved it. Wish he told me that on the phone or else I would have done the same! Oh well, I ended up getting both the chocolate and strawberry chiffon cake. It's pretty pricey for a small cake and thought it was pretty standard in terms of taste. They had variety of different Madelines as well. I chose the earl grey and matcha brilles but thought the flavor wasn't strong enough on either of those things, still a great madeline overall.

It does taste very good but it is definitely a little overpriced given the portion and the technics. And it is ridiculous that you have to order a cake one day ahead even you went their in the morning. Don’t play the Hunger Marketing game, just show respect to the customer!

The Madeleines are flavorful and perfectly hand crafted! I loved hearing all of the recommendations and the service was warm, inviting, and incredible! Can't wait to visit again !

The author Marcel Proust uses madeleines to contrast involuntary memory with voluntary memory in "In Search of Lost Time". The madeleines are scrumptious and great with a cup of coffee or tea. There are different flavors to choose from. There is a gluten free orange madeleine too. A good selection of freshly baked items to include financier, brille, sable cookies, and cakes. Loved the matcha flavors too. So yummy, I will need a return visit to try the other items and flavors.
