Molly's Yogurt & Mitchell's Gelato

I rarely leave poor reviews, but couldn't not do it for this place.

Went there with the family for dessert, were excited for some gelato. The prices were okay, nothing outrageous. 5.50 for 3 scoops, and 1.50 for a waffle bowl. Not bad.

We were expecting a decent amount of ice cream from 3 scoops, the guy that was there, said he's not the owner and doesn't know anything, served 3 tablespoon sized scoops and said that was the portion size. Not even kidding, 3 tablespoon sized scoops. There was more waffle than ice cream.

I don't know if that's the norm, but it's the most ridiculous portion of ice cream we've ever gotten.

The guy was totally weird and extremely unlikeable.

The flavors were interesting, but the experience was terrible!!!

Would totally come back if this was not the norm, because you don't normally see those flavors...

Parking: I'm broke so the free parking was appreciated.

Anita's is just about our favorite spot for Mexican food. It is nicely prepared and presented, and, above all, tastes great! The service is excellent. We particularly like the serving sizes of their lunch specials (ends at 4pm).

Nice, casual decor and we had a very nice waiter. Food was nicely prepared and the price was right. I really liked that they serve perfectly chilled Negra Modelo!

Anita’s nailed our annual US Marine Corps breakfast on 10 November when we celebrated the 248th anniversary of the founding of the Corps. Anita’s went all out to welcome us and accommodate a bunch of Devil Dogs (Marines). We had over 20 guests and they kindly set aside a table for our Missing Marine place setting, mounted the Marine Color flag for us, and even brought out plates and a cake knife when we completed breakfast and started the cake ceremony. I think they were slightly appalled :) when we used an Old Ka-Bar combat knife to cut the cake but were so helpful in serving the cake. Our two servers were outstanding!!! The managers went out of their way to welcome us too. Thanks Anita’s! You know where we’ll be next year!

Great, quality gelato.

Horrible customer service. Over priced canned food. Avoid this place. Wait staff is untrained and management just cares about the dollar. The owner lives in the Plains VA in a big estate with untrained management team trying to run the business. Sad

Delicious food. I can tell it was authentic. We loved the empanadas and the Spanish rice. However, some of our other food was lacking flavor. On that note, we would return and try something new.

Such poor quality food, no flavor, small portions, ingredients tasted old. Restaurant was dirty. Will not return.

We hadn't tried Anita's for dinner in about 15 years, and we were pleasantly surprised. We got takeout, which was ready on time and provided efficiently. We had a chicken burrito bowl (OK), salmon (good), pork tamales (very good), and fish tacos (good, and we appreciated that the fish was grilled and not fried). The price for everything was a very reasonable $60 before tip. We'll order from them again soon.

Great food and safe service. Due to covid i did not sit inside. I opted to pick-up dinner using an online service and the food was delicious and tasty.

Anita's has set up a nice large tent away from traffic. We were there during a rainstorm and stayed dry. They are offering their full menu and the service was very good. Of course, their New Mexican cuisine is always great and it arrived piping hot from the kitchen. Tables are nice and far apart. Some are booths. Masks are worn and staff do all they can to keep things clean. The servers made it a great experience!

Delicious yogurt - the real thing not loaded with sugar. The original yogurt is a bit tart and the fresh fruits sweeten up the flavor. While the fresh strawberries and raspberries were nice, the chunks of mango were the highlight. There's also a wide variety of gelato flavors. Perfect for a warm day!Nice mom and pop shop, great service!

Delicious and a great selection! I tried the Lemon and Basil sorbet, and it was amazing. The younger woman there was very nice and helpful as well. Thank you for taking care of us right before close! :)
