Oh My Dak (Korean Fried Chicken)

Just listen to the crispy sound!

Ordered 10 pc plain wings and half chicken with supreme sauce. They did fantastic job on both orders.

The wings. Crispy outside, juicy inside. Piping hot. We had it yesterday. My gf is already saying we need to go back to get the wings again.

Now, the supreme...
Supposed to be garlicy, overly sweet, slightly spicy, almost creamy from white mayo sauce, and most importantly soaked in the sauce. They nailed it and have it exactly the way I remember it from my childhood in the 90s. Other establishments of Cheogajip generally do a decent job but often go easy on the sauce and kind of ruins the whole point of this particular recipe imo. Not enough sauce applies to other popular franchieses these days too. But not here. 200% satisfied with how they prepared it 🙂🙂

Never expected to find a chicken place that would bring me nostalgia in VA. Will probably go here at least once a month.

Good place to hang out as a big group. Friendly and attentive staffs. The thing is that the fried chicken pieces are big chunks and outside is crispy but inside is soft and wet. Soft inside and crispy outside is a good idea but it’s too soft and wet and oily. I didn’t like how the texture goes. Maybe other people like it. I don’t think I will visit again for their fried chicken. Maybe Ddeok-bob-kki? Their radish pickle seems like home made and not too sweet which I liked. It’s not easy to find the entrance for first comers.

I haven’t had Korean food since I came back from studying in Asia and this was great! I got the So-Tteok and Rice Punch and it was comforting. Definitely coming again!

Very good Korean fried chicken and I like the fact that they do not shy away from the spice. So if you can't handle spicy foods, maybe try somewhere else.
They also offered plastic gloves for handling the chicken to keep the mess off of your fingers which was a nice touch.
I just went there last night and I'm already craving it again.

This fried chicken is, by far, the worst I’ve ever had. It’s not just a matter of Korean fried chicken standards. I’ve had better fried chicken from KFC and Popeyes.

The fried chicken is perfectly made, the texture is just right. It’s the best Korean fried chicken I’ve ever had! The bul dak cup bop is so filling and flavorful it comes with a generous amount of food. They are very welcoming and kind so I always enjoy dining in. Their lunch special is an amazing deal! Highly recommended Oh My Dak!

Authentic down to the pickled radish. Lots of variety and hygienic. I always see the employees cleaning and sanitizing whenever I visit. A++

BEST KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN EVER! Me and My family are on a road trip for my older sisters college reunion. I really love Korean food and so does my sister so when we stopped in Virginia , I immediately knew for dinner I want a Korean spot and I’m so glad I picked here. The reviews are not lying, our server was so nice and patience and made accommodations to his best abilities. The food came fast but also really fresh and so crispy even with the sauce. The pickled radish and rice was sooo good. Everything was just so good and we were lucky because it was empty so we could just enjoy ourselves freely. And it came up to 60+ and we ofc left a tip! So much good food for so little! A true gem! I hope they have much success! 🖤

I enjoyed a delicious lunch here. The atmosphere and interior design feels almost nostalgic and homely. The fried chicken there is spectacular and solved my cravings for it immediately. I definitely recommend coming here.
