I ordered chicken Biryani and it was the worst Biryani I had ever in my life, there was so flavour, no salt, no spices and it was completely sweet type biryani with lots of unnecessary things mixed up.

Good food at reasonable price. Chicken biryani, lamb saag, samosas, shrimp masala are our favorites.

Amazing food. Best samosas in NoVA. Had butter chicken and spinach paneer and naan, too. First class.

Asked for a dairy free gluten free chicken curry and the staff did a great job accommodating to my dietary restrictions. It was delicious! While waiting did some shopping in market next door, fruits and vegies were just getting unpacked and looked so fresh. Please Vienna community lets support this family business!

I'm in the hidden gem camp. There's a certain Indian authenticity about this place that is rarely matched. In fact, you'd have to go halfway across Vienna into the back of a gas station to find its match.Sadly we haven't tried as much here as I think we ought to have by now. I tend to go for the lamb/goat dishes which are pretty good -- though I do find the goat runs out fast given the bones. Paired with the bindi, baigan, or paneer it makes for a pretty great well rounded meal.Perhaps the best part about this place is it's attached to a grocery store. A quick jaunt past the refrigerated section in the back and you're going home with an entire box of kaju katli. Which is, after all, pretty much the best dessert ever.

I remember years ago this place had a wonderful lunch buffet option. Now, it's disappointing in flavors, quality, & pricing. Came here for lunch & ordered the butter chicken & lamb biryani. The butter chicken was not good at all. There were small, thinly sliced pieces of chewy chicken instead of the bigger succulent, juicy pieces at other quality Indian restaurants. The flavor was lacking in spice & flavor & the sauce was watery. Lamb biryani was also lacking in flavor as well. Most definitely not worth $15+ for each dish. Sad to see the quality has gone down.

Place is expensive for the quality of food they serve. They charged me extra $4 for bone-in-goat biryani with didn't have that. The Kerala Porotta was highly disappointing since I paid $3 per bread. Naan was ok!

I don't know why the Mediocre stars for this place-- the food is delish! Butter chicken and Lamb Vindaloo are my faves. They don't pick up the phone all the time, you may have to call a few times but this is solid Indian to go spot!

I wanted to support local business with pick up. Placed order with door dash, order confirmed, 30 min later went to pick up - rudely told no order and that they don't work with door dash. No offer to put in an order to make the sale or accommodate the customer in what is clearly a dispute between delivery apps and the restaurant. They could care less about me - i had money in hand and was just treated as trash. Never going there again.
