Patsy’s American was solid. The ribeye was juicy and cooked right, the mac and cheese hit the comfort food spot, and the caesar salad was fresh. Service was easygoing, and the place has a relaxed, classic American vibe. Good spot for a reliable meal. I’d come back.

Food and staff were great! Atmosphere is not my cup of tea, but large and able to accommodate big groups - thank you!

My family of 4 dined here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the food. The smoked salmon (well done) was super delicious. My son had the steak and fries and loved it. We ordered some desert to go and will definitely be back for more family time together.

I have eaten at Patsy's and a few of their other chains a couple of times when I was in Virginia visiting my sister. The food and service has always been great. The chocolate cake was delicious. I am not a chocolate cake eater because it is typically dry, but I will always order chocolate cake when I visit Patsy's.

Ordered my steak medium and it came out raw. I brought it to the attention of my server and a frantic manager rushed over to our table talking so fast I thought she was on drugs. I explained the situation to her but she just kept repeating herself basically saying “can’t you read the menu.” I finally just agreed to eat the steak as it was and in return the manager gave us a free piece of dry chocolate cake from Randy’s that seemed like it had been sitting around for a few days. We won’t be back to Patsy’s, better options nearby.

It's hard to find a chain of restaurants that does it better than Great American Restaurants. The key is in their consistency, ingredient quality, and systems for customer service. My favorite dishes at Patsy's (other than the Filet Mignon) are the Lobster Bisque, Warm Goat Cheese & Spiced Pecans Salad, Penne Primavera and Roasted Half Young Chicken. They are accommodating of gluten-free diets and keep the interior clean. This location is unique because of the different sections (front bar, back sports bar, patio, and the attached Randy's Steakhouse).

We did have an issue where we booked in advance and they said they did not see our reservation, we showed proof of the reservation and was actually reluctant about providing a table for 8 but the manager came out and resolved the situation.
Kudos to the manager.

My husband son and I were in DC from Milwaukee visiting my daughter's family and they suggested Patsys for dinner last week. Wow! Raw oysters and clams with a blood orange sauce was delicious! My son 11, only orders salmon when we eat out and he said it was the best he ever eaten! My meal was equally delicious as was my husbands. The waiter was great! We really had a wonderful evening!

I always appreciate the Great American restaurants. Unfortunately the late lunch we were having was very loud, it's just the design of Patsys. Additionally the server seemed rushed.
