Good neighborhood restaurant with a warm cozy ambiance. Service was great although a bit slow. The complimentary bread was warm with just the right touch of crunch and chewiness, and when dipped in olive oil mixed with grated Parmesan cheese and black pepper, makes for a great bread course. Highly recommended were the mussels cooked in a tomato broth with thin slices of garlic and two nice chunks of delicious garlic bread. The pizza crust was thin and excellent.
The weekly specials rotate each week, and it's always fun to try ordering from the specials menu. Every dish we ordered was well made and flavorful, including the Stinco d'Agnello (braised lamb shanks with mashed potatoes) and Veal Saltimbocca. We were too full to order desserts but hope to be back to try some!
A local gem. Delicious
We’ve eaten at their deli next door and really enjoyed it, we decided to order food to-go tonight. The online order was quoted 25 minutes, we got there about 30 mins later and after having to ask two different hostesses about the status of our order, were told we would need to wait an additional 30 minutes. We finally received our food and some gelato (though it was half melted after it had been sitting with our food under the heat lamp). It was incredibly disappointing! The arancini tasted freezer burned and the flavor was so bad we couldn’t eat them. The petto sorrentina had no flavor it was very bland and the chicken was questionable if it was cooked all the way through. Maybe we came here on a bad night because it was so busy, but the food was just bad and not worth the price!
Not sure how this place doesn’t have 5 stars but the service was outstanding and the food was amazing. Their pizza was the best pizza I have ever had and I’m pretty picky about my pizza. The sauce is clearly homemade as well as the crust. Calamari was also the best I’ve had in a long time. The server was very knowledgeable and said we could even order off the menu which we did. Go eat here!
We stopped here randomly on our way to a concert at Wolf Trap. Didn’t have any expectations but were blown away by the amazing service and delicious food! I made myself stop eating so I could have leftovers to take to work the next day. We ordered a couple of the specials from the menu and everything was so delicious. Order the tarimasu - huge portion and delicious!
Pazzo Pomodoro is fantastic! I ordered carry-out mac and cheese, meatballs, and beef lasagna—all packaged and ready to heat up at home. Everything was absolutely delicious. The kids especially loved the mac and cheese and meatballs. The prices are very reasonable, and the food quality is even better. Highly recommend!
Awesome food. Any of the pasta dishes are amazing. I recommend the pizzas too. Be sure to try the specials.
The place was amazing. I have been there before but only at the bar. This time we went there with the whole family for a dinner.

This review is an exception as we’ve never experienced such poor service. We came for celebrating anniversary and left with embarrassment.
Food was good and we all enjoyed it.
Extremely disappointing with our waiter Mauro. Not a good thing to scold the customer in front of their family and the whole restaurant.

My husband recommended this place as he went often with his family when he was younger. We were accompanied by my parents, my husband's parents, and his brother as well. The meal started off just fine at first. Appetizers were served and were delicious. Then the mains were served and we started eating. This is where the bad experience begins.
My mother started eating her dish, which was a scallop and risotto dish, and after a little bit said her throat started feeling like it was closing up a bit. She simply told me where her epipen was and put the dish aside. We made absolutely no complaint to the staff as it wasn't their fault if she suddenly couldn't eat it. Her throat felt better a few minutes after she stopped eating it
For context: My mother does NOT have any food allergies at all. She carries an epipen because she is deadly allergic to a common household medication. The only reason she thought she might be having a reaction is because she has been on chemo for her cancer which might cause reactions to foods you never had a reaction to before.
When our server (Mauro, I believe he said his name was) came over and saw the dish, he asked about it. At first he just wanted to make sure that the meal tasted fine or if there was something wrong. However, when my mom explained she potentially felt a slight allergic reaction to it, his attitude changed. He started practically scolding my mother about how "It's the customer's responsibility to let us know if you have an allergy", and he repeated this over and over again like a parent scolding their child. My mother attempted to interject to explain that she was not and has never been allergic to shellfish, but her meek tone was overtaken once again by our waiter who kept the scolding going.
To be fair, my father, who doesn't know my mother's particulars that well, falsely said she was allergic to cilantro when she is not. She is one of the people where cilantro tastes like soap so she does not eat it (which made my father believe she was allergic). When the waiter heard my father say that, he again started scolding saying she could be allergic then to parsley because they're related. Again, my mother has no food allergies. She grows and eats her own parsley at home, for goodness sake.
After being told the same thing about how "It's the customer's responsibility/it's your responsibility" in a scolding tone, my mother just eventually said she was sorry and he one more time said about how "don't say sorry, but it's your responsibility...". After he left, most of us had a bad taste in our mouths from the encounter. We packed our meal, paid, and left.
I understand that restaurants do not want their customers to suffer an allergic reaction, and by no means am I one to truly believe "the customer is always right". However, this server did not try to listen to mother attempting to explain herself and also scolded her repeatedly in front of the entire restaurant instead of just giving a simple, nice explanation and leaving it at that.
All I can say is, this place's food is good, my husband and his family have fond memories of it, but we will absolutely never step food in here again after the treatment my mother received.

Was here for a concert and took the family out eat. We chose Italian and we could not have picked a better restaurant, the food, service, and atmosphere was amazing. Everything we ordered, was perfect. The antipasta was so delicious. Thank you all for a great experience and some of the best lasagna I have ever had.

Didn't try the food but the bar was low key with great service and good conversations. Next time I'll stop in when I'm ready to eat as the food smelled delicious.

Edit: Having worked in the restaurant industry for over 10 years, I know how much team effort is needed to keep a place running successfully. It is unfair to review a whole establishment because of one person. I appreciate the wonderful service I have received from others, especially management.
We were regulars until today. I took my two nieces to lunch for their birthday, my family had become regulars here since last year and I wanted them to try this place since they like italian food.
It is amazing how one bad server can ruin an experience for a whole table, there were only two waiters and we got the one that was disrespectful, condescending and did not want to be bothered by our table (it was a hispanic looking man/black hair). In addition my cesar salad was fishy.
Thanks for ruining my two nieces birthday, I like my restaurants with a positive and nice ambiance not with a side of rudeness, won’t be returning.

Great Italian food! The GM Benny was extremely accommodating and wonderful to our party. We had my birthday dinner with my family in the back room and it was an amazing experience and just great to be with our loved ones in a private setting.
