I’ve been coming to this location pretty much every weekend for the last 3 years and realized I’ve never actually left a review! They have another location that is bigger than this one, but honestly, this one is the better spot for food, service, and the overall vibe. I actually live closer to the Falls Church location but still make the drive here because the staff are always super friendly and the experience is consistently good. On Fridays and Saturday, it can get a little busy a hectic but the wait usually isn’t too bad, maybe around like 10–15 minutes. My order has always come out right and the food tastes fresh and delicious every time I’ve been here.
The place itself is clean, condiments are always stocked, and there’s a really nice mural on the wall that gives it a cozy feel. Nice music playing most of the time I come and seating is a little tight but it’s comfortable. Every time I come in,I’m greeted right away and the staff have been the same since I first started coming so they know what they’re doing. If there ever is an issue, they’re quick to fix it. If you have any allergies or food restrictions, they are pretty accommodating to requests so that is something to consider. Overall, this has been one of my go-to spots for Greek food for years! Consistently good food, good prices, and really great service.

The food quality is very high but the issues are related to timing and order accuracy. With their focus on Uber Eats they repeatedly mess up the orders of those from the local community. While in the store for around 15 mins today I saw 2 people come in returning their order for something being wrong or missing. I too suffered the same fate. Maybe in the future I will give them a try but way too many other great places to eat in the area.

This place is great. We had the Chicago Style Gyros and fries. We always order them with fries in the sandwich as well. They were superb. I have them add fresh jalapeños to mine. The service is great and friendly. The line goes quickly. We ordered the Baklava for dessert and loved it!

Already planning on going back. Food was very good, reasonably priced and they did two substitutions on what I wanted for 25 cents. Service folks were very nice. I got a gyro and that potatoes, both were very good. That plus a Mexican Coke was 21 before a tip. Meat was good and fresh, unlike another place nearby. This is a winner, HS buddy loves it and put it on my list. Glad he did, check them out.

We recently worked with Nick from Plaka Grill to cater a large milestone birthday event, and the entire experience exceeded every expectation. Our RSVP count kept changing right up until the day before, but Nick handled it all with calm professionalism and total flexibility.
From the start, he guided me through selecting the perfect menu—appetizers, salad, and a full dinner—with options that beautifully accommodated both carnivores and vegetarians. His recommendations for quantity were spot-on.
And the food was incredible. Guests raved about everything. The pastitsio and moussaka were huge hits, as were Peter’s salad, the meatballs, and all the dips with warm pita. The spread was hearty, flavorful, and had great variety.
What truly set this experience apart, though, was Nick’s professionalism and personal service. He spent time on the phone with me on multiple occasions leading up to the event, walking me through details and putting me completely at ease. On the day of, he personally delivered everything, set it all up, and even provided burners to keep the food perfectly warm. His attention to detail was exceptional—he arranged the buffet so guests could self-serve smoothly and supplied all the plates and cutlery we needed.
I can’t recommend Plaka Grill and Nick highly enough. They helped make our celebration unforgettable, and I would absolutely work with them again for any future event.
