Worst mistake of my niece's life. They ruined the wedding reception. Poor communication, incorrect details, and low-quality food. Even the personnel looks unkempt. Several of the elderly guests also fell ill. I highly doubt it was a stomach virus. For the money, we could have gone with several other local caterers.

Love supporting small business and woman owned business! Working with Purple Onion for our party this summer was the smartest decision. Lead up was easy and Phoebe ran us through everything we needed to think about even party tips and suggestions outside their catering purview and we were blown away at the way everything was beautifully displayed. The menu options were terrific and the choices we made were delicious. The on-site team (Luis was lead) had everything taken care of from set up, party time, and break down. Catering can be a big cost for your party but it is well worth it when you go with a team like Purple Onion!

I honestly did not think catering would matter much for the wedding since wedding food is never good - Purple Onion proved me wrong! I chose them because their food looked so pretty, but it was absolutely delicious. The cocktail hour was amazing and the food was so fun - mini tacos, mini chicken and waffles and sangria-infused watermelon bites - it doesn't get any cooler! Then for dinner I actually sat down to eat because the dinner was SO good. I had so many guests give compliments about the food, one guest had the vegetarian dish and described it to me in detail because she said it was so amazing. I've also never seen such a crowded dessert table! Such a fun group of people to work with and an overall wonderful experience.

Purple Onion catered a 150-person memorial gathering for me on Friday evening. I never from the first conversation with Margaret had a doubt that things would go well. She followed through on everything she promised at every step, with every decision I had to make or question I had for her. Her suggestions were excellent. The event setup was on time; the space looked gorgeous in every detail. The food was delayed by speakers taking extra time, but the caterers rolled with it, and the food was still beautiful to look at and wonderful to taste. Meanwhile, I had to do nothing. They even boxed up leftovers for us to take home! And when it was all over, everything was left spotless. I cannot say enough how pleased I am to have done business with Purple Onion!
