I love this place!! I got the beef drunken noodles, and my friend got the miso ramen and both dishes were incredible! I definitely recommend the miso soup, so flavorful. The service was also great, and our waitresses helped us pick the perfect dishes for the weather. This is the best restaurant on church street, and they also have very affordable drinks and a nice vibe.

Had the Red Curry Duck Confit. It was EXCEPTIONAL. Well done and highly recommend. Great flavors, high quality ingredients, and the duck was cooked perfectly.

Pan East Asian restaurant. Menu items include Japanese, Thai, and Korean dishes. The portions are very generous! And made with care. Lovely ambiance. Good staff. I would definitely return and recommend.

Had Chicken Pad Thai. The only things that gave it any taste at all were the peanuts -- big pieces of tasteless dry chicken thrown into the noodles, doubt if it was cooked all together at all Won't go back

This is the second time we’ve been here. Red Galanga is fabulous. We had dinner Saturday night and the tables were appropriately distanced. My husband had the sushi dinner and he said the fish was very fresh and elegantly presented. My brother had the chirashi and I had the grilled eel donburi. Food and staff are excellent, the service (Emily) and Chef Oh are attentive and pleasant. An enjoyable evening all around!

Great service, food is amazing! Sushi presented beautifully and tastes great! Real clean and socially distanced tables and in the summer they have set tables outside upon customer request. Carryout or mobile app ordering available. No delivery service direct from restaurant.

Sweet staff, clean, socially distanced tables. Recommend potstickers, bento box and tuna bagel sushi.

I really wanted to like this place but it's just okay. Their menu was great and included a variety of unique dishes. The service was also great. The food, however, was not good. It was bland. The calamari, which was supposed to be spicy, was not at all. It also just tasted like grease. The Ramen lacked flavor. And the teriyaki salmon tasted fishy.

Great place to get local sushi. Very clean, nice and well prepared sushi. Service is awesome and the prices are normal.

This mom and pop restaurant has been like a second home to me. The waitstaff is very friendly, Sunny especially. She remembers I often drink iced tea and order sushi for an appetizer. The rolls are super tasty, fresh and amazing presentation. One of their signature rolls is a meal by itself but I order a noodle dish (Singapore street noodle and drunken noodle are my all time favorites) and take a few bites and pack the rest to have for the next day or two. Big serving of food! . The only dish I don’t recommend is the pad Thai which is too sweet. Everything else including bento box specials for lunch or dinner are amazing! I like their pork belly and poke salads too! Lots of fantastic dishes just note that they have limited hours due to pandemic. I hope business picks up so they can open for lunch again Mon-Thursday. For dessert I recommend the ginger ice cream.

of the one night, Sushi Yoshi and Sushi Yama, close for the week, Mondays, Red Galanga could not out perform them. That is a lot to say about the food and service. My husband orders the spicy tuna, yellow tuna and salmon, he also ordered the mackerel and some of the fatty fish. I generally shared the meal with him but not this time, he had funny expression which told me not to have a taste. After he had left the restaurant, he told me the fish was dry. Difficult to do since you don't have to cook. They managed that easily. I ordered the duck with basil, it tasted like the duck came out of a can. I know duck confit is preserved duck but I did not order duck confit. My husband told me well, maybe the chef is not Thai. Excuse me? Galanga is used unjudiciouly in Thai Cusine. The name of the restaurant is Red Galanga Modern Asian.I am very sorry that I am brutal with this review but this establishment needs to improve in many areas. The server was never comfortable around us. It was a Monday night. I shudder to think when it was busy. she insisted that we took home the fresh wasabi, yes it was the star of the meal. But it went to the trash can because a little blob dropped on the table, she picked it up and put in the container, bare handed. I would not eat that even if she had white gloves on. My husband saw it but he did not want to put fuel in the fiire. Needless to say this is the first and last time we went to this place. We went here because of the high rating. . I have a receipt totaling $75 to prove that we went there tonight, Monday June 21, 2021. It could be an off night, I leave it as that.

Our family loves this restaurant. The food is amazing, we've not had a bad meal here yet, and staff are very attentive and welcoming. Our favorites are the calamari and the bulgogi. So so good!

Excellent lunch at Red Galanga. They have Thai, Japanese and Korean dishes. I had the pork ramen and it was delicious. My family had red curry chicken and pad Thai and we were all very pleased. The service was outstanding and the whole experience was relaxing. Well definitely be back.

Delicious food and wonderful service! The staff is so kind and everything was amazing. I generally don’t eat/enjoy seafood and I tried sushi for my first time here; I tried the atlantic and the mexican sushi and both were very good! I highly recommend this restaurant — one of the best bowls of tonkotsu ramen I’ve ever had! Everyone who served us (the host, our main waitress, and other staff that assisted her in between) were very attentive and kind. I would love to come back.
