Everything was amazing! Flor was phenomenal, so nice and caring and attentive. The staff overall was very attentive. So many choices for food, we will definitely be back. Everything we had was delicious- quality ingredients, not heavy or oily, and good portion sizes.
My dining companions and I agree that this is definitely one of the best restaurant experiences in the Washington DC area. Hands-down, the best Italian restaurant in Northern Virginia. Everything about this place was a fantastic experience. The waiters were very polite, attentive, and knowledgeable. The free fresh bread was absolutely amazing. I ordered the chicken piccata and it was one of the best I've ever had in my life. One of my friends ordered the lobster ravioli, and the sauce was so amazing that he used more bread to eat all the remaining sauce. We were celebrating my birthday, so they brought a lovely piece of tiramisu and a group of waiters sang me happy birthday. My friends and I agreed that we would love to come back every week to this restaurant. It's definitely a five star experience!
Another fantastic evening and meal. Always a great experience. Wait staff takes their time to let you patiently enjoy the meal. Owner is always attentive and personally involve throughout the meal. Food exceptional, but ambiance and service tops all. Must visit for a great genuine Italian meal. Always looking forward to going again. Regards, Kirt Hardy
Our first time dining here for a group of 8 people and everything was excellent. The service was so personable, friendly and attentive. The food was excellent from appetizers, to entrees, and desserts. Plus they have a nice wine list to select from. We will be returning customers for sure!
The food and service were great, this is a very authentic place. It will remind you of the best food from your childhood!
A wonderful local gem that provides excellent service and a delicious menu with a wide variety of selections. When did the last restaurant you dined in immediately fill your water glass and bring a basket of fresh-made bread to your table, and kept the bread coming! Ristorante Bonaroti does it all!
I got a gift card from the restaurant and the owner and the staff were extremely polite and friendly!!! My family loves to eat here!!

Posted emergency exit blocked by tables on both sides. Bread was cold and raw in the middle, likely convenience product. Sysco brand lasagna, luke warm, died on the pass waiting for fish entrees at table. Bussers sticking their fingers inside drinks when clearing. Ceiling/vents look recently cleaned but likely concealing mold/water damage. Service is slow, disorganized, amateurish. Expected jon taffer or Gordon Ramsey any minute.

Exceptional service and amazing quality for food. As someone who grew up in New Jersey eating authentic Italian food, this hit close to home! It was my families first time eating here and we will definitely come back.

Overall excellent experience. Service was outstanding. Food, especially homemade pastas were equally excellent. Found the veal a bit overcooked and under seasoned but better than most Italian restaurants. A solid place to dine
Superb dining experience. Great food, service. They have many specials and a complete exceptional wine menu also. We've been here many times in the restaurant and the lounge area as well.
Ristorante Bonaroti is a solid spot for Italian cuisine with a cozy, classic vibe. The pasta and sauces are flavorful and feel thoughtfully prepared, though some dishes were a little hit-or-miss. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the meal enjoyable overall. It’s a dependable place for a satisfying Italian dinner, and I’d come back to try more of the menu.

I dined here recently and, quite frankly, fail to see why this place gets rated anything higher than 3 stars. The owner was pleasant and seated us. After that, the service was spotty with us having to wait 10 minutes even to get menus. The place was packed. I ordered the lasagna (supposedly a specialty of the house) and the pasta layers were few and overdone in a sea of mediocre red sauce. Price point is higher than average. The decor of the restaurant has not been updated in 40 years. Bottom line: if you have dined in Italy or at Italian restaurants in NYC or Boston, you will likely be sorely disappointed as this food falls short of the mark. The restaurant was jammed with patrons, so maybe i'm the one who doesn't know good Italian food but don't come here expecting much.
