Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

I've been coming to this place year-round for several years now. I always found the price a bit high, but felt the quantity of frozen custard provided was fairly commensurate to the cost. In recent months, I've noticed that as the prices have increased, the amount of frozen custard provided on cones has significantly decreased - by a lot. I just can't justify paying this much money for so little ice cream. The competition in the area is simply too great, especially when at the same price level, better quality and quantity of ice cream is being provided by other vendors. Hopefully it'll be improved if I choose to give it another chance later in the summer.

It was good. Family liked it. Prices were a bit high for the amount you get. Carmel was out, so that was annoying

Sophia was the best and gave us whipped cream for a FREE. If i was a dog i would be flipping out ngl. An amazinf person who onoy deserves the best in life. Alex was amaIng in giving us a cup of m&ms for 1$. Sophia was giving this loving family a mountain of custard because she simply can. What a loving and heartfelt person.

Friendly, great custard

Tried to order a kid's sized cone for my toddler.. they said they don’t sell it. The girls also said they don’t offer pupp cups. But… it does exist.. maybe these kids need retraining

We felt terribly about stopping in several minutes before closing but Sophie was super nice and made us feel welcomed

Food is good but they need to train their staff better. Ordered a Blendini the girl made it in the plastic cup rather than the metal container they're supposed to make it in. I didn't think anything of it until i saw it leaking in the cup holder of my car. Turns out the cup had a crack on the side due to the blender. Didn't even get to enjoy it.

This is a tiny spot. You will miss it if you're not paying attention. The flavor selections are good. The staff is nice.

Great location on church street, always lots of nice people and dogs hanging out eating ice cream. The misto shake sounds weird but it's actually really good and they have lots of flavors of everything to choose from. The staff are always very friendly and ready to help or offer free samples. Definitely recommend this particular location over others

I really wouldn't waste your time with this place. We waited for 40 minutes to get served. The dog that came in and out of the shop got served quicker. The staff were far too busy talking to each other than serving customers.I don't know what the rules are for animals in a food outlet but it doesn't fill me with confidence when the staff are more interested in a dog than serving the very very long line.

An amazing place to get Italian ice! This specific stores stays open throughout the entire year, unlike many other Rita's. I would definitely try the mango ice and vanilla custard Gelati! This place has a bench outside in front of the store to sit on while you eat.

I must say, for a company that specializes almost exclusively in shaved ice, this place does it pretty well. Once a year Rita's offers a free cup of Italian ice for the first day of spring and you best believe that my wife and I take full advantage of that deal.The shaved ice is delicious, the staff was sweet and helpful, the seating was scarce and there's plenty of street parking in the back.See you next year, Rita's.
