Aside from the sparse parking this hidden Nepalis bistro has some of the best appetizers and main courses. The wait staff is timely and accommodating. Great for dates and people who love food with a bit of heat!

What a great find and delicious food! We came here for lunch on a random Monday. The service was great and the food was delicious. Cannot wait to come back! The lentil soup and Nan bread were especially great! 😋
Kid-friendliness: They have kids menu and a lot of their regular items would be great for kids as well.

We enjoyed an excellent lunch! Crispy veggie roll, akabare chicken, lamb momo, and garlic naan were all flavorful, well prepared, and reasonably priced. Courteous service and a pot of Nepalese tea rounded out a terrific meal.

Absolutely wonderful experience. The food was absolutely fantastic, and it was just a superb evening overall. The staff was very friendly and engaging, and the food was at the table quickly. The flavors were all glorious. They can accommodate those with different spice tolerances, but nothing was so hot as to blow out the palate.

I had an amazing experience at Royal Nepal Bistro! The food was absolutely authentic and bursting with flavors—everything from the momos to the pork sekuwa was perfection. The drinks menu was equally impressive, featuring unique Nepali-inspired cocktails that were both refreshing and creative. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Whether you're craving traditional Nepali dishes or just looking for a cozy spot with great drinks, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Hands down one of the best Nepali restaurants I have been to in the states. We had such an amazing experience dinning here. The food is authentically delisssshhhh to the point. We had couple of dishes on the table but the Wild boar sekuwa ummmhhummm, so good we had to repeat it more than two times.
Our experience was made even better by one and only Dibesh dai. He is so professional, witty, kind and friendly. He def elevated our dinning experience with his knowledge and conversation.
Will for sureeee come back whenever I’m in Virginia.
Thank you to the whole team of Royal Nepali Bistro. Absolutely loved it.

One of the best Nepali restaurant so far. I came here in the morning with my boyfriend and I couldn’t stop myself from coming back for dinner on the same day. We tried chicken and goat thali set. It was the best. The server was really polite. They provide you with dal as a starter. Best dal and best food. Hats off to the cook for their best food. Will definitely come back.

Had lunch with a friend. We were pleasantly greeted, but a bit concerned that no other diners were there. No lunch menu, so a little pricey. They brought out a small teacup of complimentary lentil soup. My friend started coughing because it had too much turmeric. We shared momo (dumplings) which came with 2 sauces, one green herb and one tomato based (with turmeric). We ordered two fish dishes to share; fish of the day (rockfish) and smoked salmon tandoori. Both were good and well presented, but the turmeric was a little heavy in the sauce on the rockfish. Personally, I like turmeric, but my friend was not prepared for the pungency of it, and based on that she would not return. A shame, because it seemed clean and very nice atmosphere. One minus is they table set the water glasses rim side down on the bare wood table which turned me off. I wiped the rim with a cloth napkin but I don't believe this is a sanitary practice. I would rather risk dust in my glass than germs from the tabletop.
