What a fall from Grace. When did Ruth Chris become such an Outback Steakhouse quality restaurant? Service is godawful slow and the interior needs an update. Not the Ruth Chris I enjoyed 20 years ago.

The service was the best part. I'm a long time Ruth's Chris fan; however, the food was just okay this time around. We ordered a bone-in strip and a regular NY strip with lobster mac, mushrooms, calamari. The best part was the lobster mac. The meat on the both New York strips were really tough and the calamari was soggy. I also ordered an Old Fashioned that did not come with a single cube so it tasted watered down with all of the little cubes of ice. I would choose Texas Roadhouse over this experience. The food was good but not $380 good.

We were originally booked at 1609 restaurant for a birthday party of 10 people but they failed to inform us that they didn't have a separate entrance from the main casino floor like most casino restaurants in the area do, and with one of our party who was not 21 years old, had to scramble to find someplace close within the hour that could accommodate our large group with short notice. Ruth's Chris came through and not only made a last minute reservation for 10 work, but had the wherewithal to actually decorate the table and seat us about 10 minutes before our promised time. Tina and Joe were simply awesome and were so attentive and supportive throughout our meal, even down to the obligatory family picture in the wine room at the end of the evening. While so many think they are doing you a favor by hosting you at their restaurant, thank you Ruth's Chris for exemplifying what true customer service is all about!

Chris was a very attentive waiter and did an excellent job. It was my wife's birthday, which I put on the reservation. They had special decorations at the table and every person we interacted with from the check in desk to the wait staff acknowledged it, that was a very special touch. The food and wine was excellent.

I find that there is never anything bad to say about Ruth’s Chris regardless of what location you patronize. They always have excellent food, wonderful service, and great prices considering the quality of what is served. This specific location in Tysons Corner is nothing different. My wife and I were both very pleased with the dining experience for our anniversary. They even decorated the table after I added what the celebration was for when I booked the reservation. Side note: Try ordering the crab cakes (they are awesome!)

Thank you to our waiter Felipe who showed us patience with 3 children (2 of which were grumpy babies) in our party. He corrected an order promptly when it wasn't cooked to our specification and regularly checked up on us. Steaks were flavorful. Asparagus was grilled and seasoned wonderfully.
