The food is great! This location is always busy! The service can be improved a little bit, wish they have a bigger restaurant to accommodate the high demand! Our experience with Shamshiry few years back was a little rocky, we understand how difficult sometimes to manage a busy business like this on a busy day during the end of the pandemic lockdown! Hope things get better with you guys! Hope our next experience will be better! And hope you guys open more restaurants around the DMV area!
No better Baghali pollo with salmon around. The host/owner is so friendly and makes you feel like you are at home. They did remodel and the place looks great!

We ordered chicken kebab and kobedeh. Kobedeh was good but chicken was over cooked and dry. We slo order Tosche and what we got was not Tosche it was like picked vegetables with no spices and herbs.

The steak was of the highest quality. The chicken breasts were seasoned perfect, tender, and juicy! The wait staff was attentive and very friendly. Overall, it was a great family experience!!!

Get whatever kabob with half rice half salad! Koobideh is wonderful, joojeh is good, barg hit or miss.

Wow! Where to start?!
Best food in town hands down!
Started with the bread and salad with yogurt, delish to say the least, the bread was hot/fresh ? as was the yogurt and cucumbers!
Then the Lamb and Chicken Kabob arrives with the rice and Lamb chops ⭐️ wow, the most tender chicken and land I’ve ever had (been around the world, including foods native lands, Shamshiry is by far the BEST!)
The wait was well worth it!
I’d wait patiently to eat here again, this place should definitely be on The Nations Best restaurant list, a MUST try when in McLean or nearby, it’s worth the drive!
The service was amazing, even as busy as they were, the attention to detail was on point.
Finally, I had some Hot Tea and Saffron Ice Cream (first time tasting btw) The ice cream was very different and probably now on of my favorite Ice Creams! and of course the Hot Tea, great way to end the night.
Thank you Shamshiry for a great evening out without disappointment!

Terrible wait time. I arrived at 7 was told it would be a 25 mins wait time. After 50 mins i go inside and the guy says u r 3rd in line. I am like u told me total wait time 25 mins and now u r telling me 3 in line after 50 mins. Terrible service they need to get a better and more spacious area. Because waiting 1 hour is horrible

Amazing Persian food with original recipes. We went there several times, every time we visited DC. The food is fresh, delicious and authentic. The service is perfect although you have to wait for some time before being led to your table. And there are no reservations apparently. This is a bit annoying. But definitely it is worth the wait in the line.
