Treated my cousin to Sweet Ginger for his birthday and we were both amazed by the quality and quantity of food we received for the price paid. We made it easy for our patient and attentive waiter by ordering two Thai iced tea and the Bento Box A with beef teriyaki. Everything was cooked and prepared to perfection. Starting with the Thai iced tea; which was almost like a dessert. So smooth and sweet! It complimented the meal. The miso soup was comforting and had a balanced ratio of broth, tofu, greens, and green onion. The salad was fresh, crisp, and dressed with a rich and tasty peanut dressing. Of course, the highlight of our meal was the incredible bento boxes. The tempura shrimp and vegetables were my favorite. They were breaded to ideal crispiness and paired well with the soy dipping sauce. The vegetables were one big broccoli floret and large sliced carrot and zucchini medallions. The teriyaki steak was scrumptious, served on a bed of cabbage slaw with a generous amount of sauce. There was enough for me to dip other box components into, like the California rolls, tofu, and the Japanese dumpling. We dusted off everything. Not even the leftover salad dressing remained because we drank it all up! The whole experience was so much fun and we had a blast. Can't wait to go back. We left feeling satisfied and can add this to our list of happy memories!

Dietary restrictions: With a serious avocado allergy I'm always cautious of rolls at sushi places; here I'm not worried they'll forget and make mistakes.Parking: Quickly got a spot right in front of the door, but the open parking lot had plenty of open room.

I have been coming here for years and have not been disappointed with the service. The servers are always nice to accommodate allergies, and when you do takeout, they box it themselves. The bento boxes are probably the best deal here, considering you get a good portion with miso and house salad included. I also like how authentic the sushi is, and how fresh and clean it feels compared to a lot of sushi restaurants I've been to. Price is worth the food you are getting.

I knew from the start I was in the hands of professionals. Take notes my friends, because confidence is king. Sweet Ginger displayed a genuine, impossible to counterfeit conviction as if there were absolutely no doubt that they would deliver great service. As I ordered my Shirley Temple, my cousin asked the server if there were cherries, to which he responded with a ever so brief look of confusion and offense. "Of course there are cherries" he said matter of factly as if it were a stupid question. IT IS A STUPID QUESTION and you will never understand the tsunami of relief that washed over me once I learned that I was dining at a restaurant that has common sense and class. One should never have to ask if a Shirley Temple has cherries, because it wouldn't be a Shirley Temple, by definition, without cherries. Therefore, Sweet Ginger's response to my cousin's stupid question, confusion, attitude and all, is the only correct way to respond. And I applaud them for that. Yes, 2 cherries were included in my beverage that night. The Shirley Temple was solid, by far the most grenadine I've seen thus far, but I liked it because by the time the ice melted, it still tasted like a Shirley Temple. The sprite was a little flat, I could've used more fizz. However, between the sweetness, temperature, and inclusion of cherries, I thoroughly enjoyed my beverage and that's all I could ever hope for as a customer of a restaurant. Is this a five star Shirley Temple? Not so sure. But experience puts the "E" in "restaurant" and I very much enjoyed the feeling of certainty that there would indeed by cherries in my Shirley Temple. Therefore, five stars.

Amazing place, it's our first time trying it and my wife and I absolutely loved the staff, service as well as food and overall experience, nice and quiet ambiance, the drive from Arlington was a little long but it was worth it, we'll definitely come back soon.

Everything about this restaurant is worth the hype! My wife and I have been coming here for a while but have never been disappointed! Never. The food and customer service were phenomenal. The wait time is little to none, the food is always fresh, and the price is affordable. We will continue to come here and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for some actual good and tasty food in Vienna.

We have enjoyed Sweet Ginger for more than 15 years. Dining in or carrying out food has been wonderful. The sushi is really fun. The Thai selections like the Drunken Noodles and Panang are divine. They really cater to kids too. Service is always polite and cordial.

If Sushi is your thing and you set a high bar, this is your place. This is the best Sushi I've had, hands down. The location is deceiving, it is 100% worth a try.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is really delicious. If you like spicy food ask for Thai Spice! PadThai, Red Curry and Nasi Goreng Malaysian are really tasty. The latter is the best to date!
