Empanadas used to be good now they freeze it and it's cold in the middle. The meat became more mushy like mashed potatoes pls go back to original recipe

I was refered to Tango Pastry by a good Argentinian friend and ever since I went to try it, I became a fan of their beef and chicken empanadas. I love how healthy they are, because they feel home made and zero oily. Also, their staff is amazing. They welcome you like you are family and they are always super sweet and attentive!
Very disappointed unfortunately. My husband and I were looking forward to trying this place (we enjoy supporting latin@ local owned businesses) but the pastries and the coffee were so underwhelming. For a place advertised as an "Espresso bar" the next part of my review should cause them to worry. I ordered an oat milk cappuccino and when we got home I realized the guy making it (who seemed to be a bit lost) had just mixed some regular black coffee with a splash of oat milk. That isn't how you make a cappuccino, by any means - it was a watery, sad cup of not-espresso. The dulce de leche pastry was dry, and somehow oddly salty and flavorless. I am a sweets lover, so you know it was bad if the pastry is just sitting there and I'm not finishing it. Nothing was special about our breakfast here. Too bad as we likely would have been regulars had the coffee and pastries been decent.

100% perfect experience! I visited on a Thursday around lunchtime, and I had an iced Americano, spinach empanada, and a sweet little dessert with dulce de leche in it. Multiple people had ordered takeout, and a few tables were occupied. I LOVED the empanada, the dough was a lot softer than other versions I have tried. The espresso was very good, and barista-quality. The dessert was just enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. It was so good I forgot to take photos! All in all I spent around $15 for everything. And, to top it all off, they used my personal cup for the coffee and offered the food on washable plates, which reduces landfill waste. 5 stars, will be eating here again.
