Had lunch here w my friend...both dishes we ordered (tom yum noodle soup and her rice n fried chicken) were both boring tasteless..definitely NOT authentic at all and mot cheap either.. Service was just as bad. Do not recommend

Surprised by the negative reviews. I've been going to Thai Pilin for over 20 years and I get the same thing every time. Three Flavored Chicken is a top five favorite dish of mine. Just order that and thank me later.

Paid $18 for the blandest panang curry I have ever had with 5 chunks of zucchini and a little bit of lamb meat. The waiter was rude, did not greet me or ask me how the food was or offer me any water. He cleaned my table without a word and I left promptly. I will not return.

Order dinner for carry out, and it was ready to go in a timely manner. This time, we ordered two different entrees. One was the Talay Pad Pak. Wow -- Both were excellent!!! Looking forward to the next visit!

I have loved this place since the late 90's, when I worked next door. I still return on a semi-regular basis, even though I don't live or work close by. the consistency of the food and service has maintained the same high level for decades. family owned and operated, you will love Pilin Thai!

We ordered two drunken noodles. We order drunken noodles every Thai place we go. This was the first time we ever had drunken noodles served with pasta noodles instead of usual flat wide noodles. There was no spice level option yet one dish was bland and the other was really spicy. Very disappointed in the dishes, especially the fact that they aren't serve with flat wide noodles.

I’m not sure how to tell you this but Thai pilin is simply the best Thai restaurant in Northern Virginia. Yeah, it might be a hole in the wall at a run down shopping center but the food is done authentically by Thai people who barely speak English. These people serve up the best damn Thai food and I can say this because I had several Thai families bring me Thai food when I was working with them. I’ve also tried numerous other Thai restaurants. The best dishes for me are the 3 flavored chicken, the steak house salad, and the shrimp and chicken fried rice!!!

Unfortunately, the broccoli and carrots they used look like they've been sitting around for a very long time (see pics). They were brown from the inside (like my veggies after 2 months in the fridge). The chicken was burnt. How do you burn chicken? The Tom Kha Gai had a thick oily layer and tasted more sour than normal. Feel disappointed I paid $25 for this meal and got acid reflux.

Worst pad see ew I've ever had. Dry chicken and no sauce. Tasted like it was previously made and warmed up. I'd rather eat dry toast.

Food was pretty disappointing. Never had such plain fried rice, it had no flavor. Drunken noodle was also on the plain side, not spicy at all. I should have checked the reviews before going there.
