Best Halal Guys in town. They always get my order right, there's some outside tables, and the food is just as enormous and delicious as ever.
The food itself was quite delicious — flavorful, well-prepared, and served hot.
Unfortunately, the overall experience was affected by a few key issues. The serving bowls were of noticeably poor quality, which took away from the otherwise well-prepared meal. Additionally, there was no clear separation between vegetarian and non-vegetarian items, which is a concern for those with dietary restrictions. It was also disappointing to see that there was no setup or organization done prior to serving — it felt a bit rushed and uncoordinated. The delivery guy just dumped all the food in huge carton boxes and left. I guess he was from the Halal Guys itself. I requested a setup, but he just left boxes. The packaging is so pathetic, aluminium bowls, they cut my fingers twice. The whole experience was cheap. Not going to order ever again. many places have similar food and with better presentation and serving medium.
Very greasy and very low quality food . We all get upset stomach. Never go back .eating here is just throwing money in garbage.
Wow, so filling! But in a good way. My chicken gyro was well built with a thick wrapper (pita? Idk what it's called) and lots of veggies, chicken, and sauce. The fries were super hot, literally out of the fryer onto my plate after a quick toss in some seasoning.
Worst halal guys in the area . Pretty small portions , stuffs are creepy .
I love this food and place
Great service, one of the first HGs in the dmv area.
I was craving for a shawarma, but unfortunately they have permanently removed that from the menu, and instead replaced it with a sandwich. Beef was dry and lacks the char flavor. Ordered chicken wings, which is was actually good. Original signature white sauce salvaged the sandwich as it taste great.
I don't remember the last time I tried this place because it was horrible. Anyway, do not waste your money on this restaurant. The rice was cold, and the shawarma was extremely oily and tasted bad. Also, it cost me $20 for a standard platter with shawarma chicken, and I felt foolish for wasting my money on such a terrible platter!! And I was wondering why there are small and regular platters if they both have the same (portions of food).

After craving a gyro for several days, I decided to try one at a local restaurant, which I discovered through a Google search.
The restaurant's ambiance was pleasing, with clean and tidy surroundings. I liked yellow and red as accent colors, which are also colors in its logo.
I ordered a beef gyro and a chicken shawarma to go. The beef gyro featured fresh tomatoes and beef pieces on a fluffy gyro, and while the flavors were fresh, the overall taste was somewhat bland. Although white sauce and hot sauce were added, I found it a bit difficult to swallow towards the end of each bite due to lack of taste. The chicken shawarma gyro had a slightly better taste but lacked depth, possibly needing more sauce or seasoning.
Both gyros were prepared quickly, and while the experience was just ok, it didn't leave a lasting impression.

Vegetarian or Vegans usually get Falafel wrap at Halal guys. However, this locations warms and preheats their pita bread over lamb/chicken, depending on the meat they are cooking. So, all PITA BREADS ARE CROSS-CONTAMINATED WITH MEAT.
Do not go to this location if you are vegan/vegetarian

Came here a couple of times in the past few months and usually it's decent. Today was the worst as the portions were small and rice was so hard that my teeth hurt, and had to keep repeating what I wanted. Asking for a tip on the register is a joke, right? Hire some competent workers please! Probably have to take my business to other halal place just up the road...

Thank you, Halal Guys! I was the guy that asked you guys a charger. I'm a tourist from overseas and my phone died as I was about to get off the Metro in Dunn Loring at 930-10pm. You guys saved me that night as I don't have any idea how to Uber myself back to my hotel. Aside from you serve good food, you also look out for the community. Appreciate you so much, your kindness is definitely one of the highlights of my trip.
