This was my first time having Halal Guys and I was very disappointed in the taste…food was extremely bland (even with the white sauce and hot sauce). The veggies tasted old as well. Had to throw out after a few bites.I got the chicken platter and while it was loaded with chicken, even the chicken didn’t taste right.Wouldn’t recommend, but hopefully they just had an off night with the recipe.

Pretty good, got the new spicy chicken. While I've had Halal Guys a ton, I've never had a bunch of chicken bones in my meal. Guess I know the chicken is real at least. Do some quality check guys.

Nice people. Clean place. Terrible food. I've had the Halal Guys before and never had an issue. This time, my food was just bland. If I'm comparing it to the many other times I've had it, this would be an E- compared to A+ grades. Thank goodness I had the white sauce to give my food some life. I'm sure it was a one time slip up but I was pretty disappointed with the food. Especially becuase I ordered double for lunch the next day. I ended up tossing the food I bought the next day.

Good quick lunch. Think chipotle halal style. The food is fine. Service is fine. Just nothing special.

Nothing beats the original. However, if you want affordable for the quantity of food (and calories haha), this place is to the place to go. Pro tip- ask for the white and red sauce on the side because everyone prefers different amounts. The location in Tysons may not let you, but this place lets you. Onions and green peppers can also be included free if charge; everything else is extra.

If I could give no stars I would. Food was good the 1st few times I went. But I went about a month ago and as soon as I went home I has instant diarrhea. For about 4 days I had nothing but diarrhea. There is one guy who is cool there I always had chatted with. But I'm sure the immigrants they hired either under cooked or didn't wash bowls or utensils or left food out to at room temperature etc to allow food pathogens to fester. And it's unusual for me to get a food borne illness as my body is tough because it's only happened one time before from a cvs pound cake. I thought this was a good location but it really isn't. Everytime I walk in the female staff is always standing around as if there is no work to do. I actually have ample restaurant experience and have a legit ServSafe certificate. Plus I seen one eating on the clock and not even wash her hands then go straight to work. My Dad is from Ethiopia and he even said the new foreign immigrants coming here are a different lower class breed. They have no concern for properly learning how to work in food establishments nor do they respect the American customers spending their hard earned money which supports them because they have a Job to come to and earn a living. Avoid this place at all costs go to another halal guys. Sad thing is I'm Muslim and absolutely love halal guys. The young latino cashier is a good worker. But all those females should be fired immediately. They speak no English and can't even understand the basic things you convey to them while placing order. Plus everytime I've come in it's dead with no business but the females walk up as if they have an attitude and try and rush and throw stuff in the bowl as if to just get you the heck out the way. Halal guys as a company needs to hire actual ethical Muslims to serve /work there and or Americans who actually understand English. When a place gives me dam near instant diarrhea that lasts four days I'll NEVER go back until they get entirely new staff. I hate to be harsh but this country is just letting anyone walk across the border and hiring them for cheap labor. I hope halal guys as a corporation gets this solved and improves. Because I love the concept love the food and actually have thought about even franchising one.

I come here for lunch often but I won’t anymore. There was some sort of dead flying insect inside my gyro sandwich.

This is absolutely ridiculous. Increasing costs due to the economy makes sense. But increasing costs AND providing HALF the food that you guys typically serve?? Honestly I can fit all the meat on my platter in one hand. How the hell is this justifiable?? I have loved halal guys for over a decade now but this is completely unreasonable!!! And when I asked the guy behind the counter about it, he says yep it's less than before but it's fair for the price. Excuse me???

I had the rice bowl with the meat cubes. It was all mushy and tasted like dog food. It's the last time I'm going there

I'm NOT recommending anyone to this place. They will give you as little meat as possible !!! PAID $15 DOLLARS FOR 7 MEATS LOL. What I remember was that original halal guys at Manhattan give us good amounts of MEATS and white sources. I tried many halal guys' places so far. This one is the worst place ever you go to.Please, don't waste your money here.

Got food poison twice from the food here so I'm not coming back here again. In either case the only thing that really has flavor is the meat. The rice has no flavor and depends way too much on the white sauce. There are better gyro platters out there

I recently visited Halal Guys and unfortunately, my experience was quite underwhelming. I ordered a rice bowl, but instead received a salad with some rice and an overwhelming amount of mayonnaise sauce. Despite explicitly requesting a light amount of sauce, it was clear that my instructions were not followed or understood. The dish was difficult to eat and left me feeling quite unsatisfied. Additionally, the overall cleanliness of the restaurant left much to be desired, which detracted from the dining experience.Overall, while the food at Halal Guys had potential, my experience was hindered by the excessive amount of sauce and disregard for my request, as well as the dirty state of the restaurant. While I may consider giving this establishment another chance in the future, I cannot recommend it based on my most recent experience.
