My family and I regularly visit this shop for pies and sodas!!! Fantastic food, including frozen pies to take home and make whenever! The variety is great—haven't found a thing we didn't like. Workers are friendly and patient, too. I highly recommend this shop for a good meal grab.

Wide selection of pasties and other English goods.
We bought the Moroccan pasty and the Beef and potato pasty. Both were delicious. The Moroccan pasties were fresh and very tasty. They had a slight curry with hits of sweet. The beef pasties were frozen (because we got there later in the day). We prepped them according to the directions and they were tasty. Good flavours and consistent filling. Would recommend this pasty shop to everyone. And if you haven't tried pasties, they are similar to a double sized, well filled hot pocket but much more delicious.
No photos. They were eaten too quickly.

What did ya think i was gonna put me phone down while stuffing me face with that pasty!!!!
Bloody amazing, better than a greggs back in England and quite the selection of British goods there like Fanta and sticky toffee pudding to skips and eccles cakes, so glad the wife brought me here even though it s over 50 mile away will most definitely be coming again. And very reasonably priced compared to other places.

I'm thankful there's a spot close by I can grab snacks from my family's childhood. A lot of snacks I kind of recognized, but once I showed pictures to my family, their nostalgia has me on a mission to come by here first before I visit them.
This is a quaint spot I never expected to stumble upon.

Had a wonderful experience today 28OCT25 at The Pure Pasty co. I ordered two beef and one chicken marsala Pastys and they were everything I hoped they would be. I know a lot of people are on here complain about the price but I think the price is perfect. Especially if you understand what you're eating. His beef is sourced from a local farmer who raises their cattle organically. Fool's Gold farm is a good friend of ours and I had no idea that he was the supplier of meat to this wonderful establishment. I'll be sure to tell Darryl you said hello. They had a very quaint shop filled with all sorts of different snacks and food. I will absolutely be coming back to this place. Love it! Thanks for a great experience!

I can't fault the pasties at all. I got the traditional beef and it was everything it should have been. Wonderful. Guy at the counter looked bored but I can't fault him. Shop was very tiny and more of a to-go place than a restaurant. Prices were exorbitant. $10+ per pasty! I guess you pay extra for having it in the US. I will probably not come often and didn't buy much simply due to the price. ...but it was tasty.

At $10 per pastry I was expecting good things. Picked out a sausage roll and a cordon bleu pastry and both were terrible. Sausage roll appeared like it had been sitting out overnight and tasted like a plain hot dog rolled in flaky dough. Cordon bleu pastry was even worse and after eating half I ended up throwing it out.

Amazing pasties — and I’ve had pasties in Cornwall, UK too. Their chicken masala is always available and delicious. I love their annual Thanksgiving Turkey pasty. And I just tried their poutine pasty captured the taste of Canada (where I was born and raised). Also they have British candy - such as jelly babies, perfect for a Doctor Who rewatch.

We did a nice Saturday bike ride out to Pure Pasty and the food and service was lovely. My only commentary is that I love the benches outside but could really use some sort of shade umbrellas for those that want to eat there food there.

Make a yearly trip to stock up on pasties. Bring a cooler to bring frozen ones home. There is a reason they have won so many awards. Flaky pastry dough with flavorful filling, full of meat or veggies. Big portions.
