The people that work at this location are absolutely phenomenal individuals overall. I always get a good vibe from them and they are always very welcoming friendly polite and attentive. I drive 7 miles to come to this location just because of the service. I have one walking distance to my house but they have horrible customer service and the way they make the smoothies just isn’t quite right. But the folks over at the merrifield location are just great. Keep being awesome guys. Thanks

So I frequent TSC in several locations. This one, the one in McLean when I am at work, and the one on Little River Turnpike. I get the same smoothie 90% or the time which is the detox island green smoothie with two boosts of protein. Normally, it's perfect no matter where I go, but at this location, there is on person in particular that makes it incorrectly. I've asked her to fix on two different trips as the consistency is always way too creamy, which I'm always polite about it. However, I get pushback with a response of, "Well, it's because you asked for double protein." No, ma'am as I get the same smoothie at all of these locations, and have never had this problem. I guess I feel miffed because the person helping me gives me an air like I'm wrong for what I'm asking for with my order that never tastes like this. I love the manager that is split between the two locations, as he's super great. Plus, most of the staff here is wonderful too, but it's just this one. I just want my smoothie right every time I go. :(

I love TSC, but I especially love this particular location. The service is outstanding. I live 5-10 min away by car, and I come here probably 3-4 times a month. I'll usually order ahead on the app and leave immediately to pick it up, and when I get there, my order is ALWAYS done and ready to take away. The staff is also friendly and they always greet me when I come in. Still working on getting to that first-name basis- I order so often that I think we can get there someday. In terms of the actual food/smoothies, you really can't go wrong with the smoothies- they're all great. They only have one size and it's pretty big, but trust me once you start drinking you'll want to finish the whole thing. On the food side, I really like the wraps- they're decently-sized and pretty filling. I get the Supergreen Caesar Wrap every time and it still slaps. I would recommend downloading the app because you can get rewards points with each purchase that you can use to get free items. The app also makes it very easy to customize your order to be exactly how you want it. Can't recommend TSC enough. I would have photos to go along with this but I devoured my meal before I remembered to take a picture...

I'm a regular here because the food and smoothies are consistently good and prepared very quickly. All the staff is very friendly and some even greet me by name (shout out to Larry)! Cannot go wrong with the Baja Chicken or Caribbean J*** Chicken wrap. If you're not as hungry then go with one of the flatbreads. Opting for a combo with a smoothie is always a good move--my favorites are the Acai Berry Boost and Island Green. If you come often enough, downloading the app is worth it because you will get $5 off every couple orders and even free supplements in your smoothie.

First, tropical smoothie as a chain is delicious. Decent food, great smoothies.Second, a note on this particular store. Management should be very proud of their business and especially their staff. They are the textbook definition of efficiency. They are well trained and seem happy to work there. Every time I walk in, my drink is already made and I'm greeted with smiling faces. This is not the case at all tropical smoothie stores but Dunn Loring nails it every time.
