The food and the service was great and my parents went there for their 35th wedding anniversary for lunch.

We had an incredibly disappointing experience last night that unfortunately compelled both my husband and me to leave reviews.

Although we were seated immediately, we were completely ignored for 15–20 minutes. Unsure how to order, we eventually approached the bar, and only then did someone come out to take our order. She appeared to write it down, but clearly didn’t enter it correctly.

About 20 minutes later, only part of our order came out: my husband’s BBQ sandwich—served without BBQ sauce—one appetizer, and a random basket of fries we didn’t order. We asked for utensils and the rest of our meal, but received only a dismissive “oh, okay” and no follow-up.

Ten minutes later, we again had to walk up to the bar to ask about the hot dog and shrimp basket we had ordered for our ten-year-old. That’s when we were told, “Oh, she didn’t put that in.”

At that point, we had waited over 45 minutes without a complete meal. We paid for the items we received and left. No apology was offered, and the only acknowledgment was that they “wouldn’t charge us” for the items they forgot.

It was a frustrating and disappointing experience from start to finish, and we won’t be returning.

I hadn’t been here in 10 years and now I remember why. This was easily one of the most disorganized dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. It’s a shame, because the place has a unique vibe, but I won’t make this mistake again.

Best place in Vienna!

If you're not a regular, they'll ignore you for as long as possible and then give you the most disgusting food imaginable. If you wanna try this place out, I'm begging you to go literally anywhere else. I'd never been somewhere where the food AND the customer service was absolutely horrendous, but here I am. WAY overpriced, as well. There's no excuse for this, these employees should be ashamed of themselves. This place is like a club where if they don't know you, they're going to ignore you and treat you badly to get you to leave.

Mice issue, food is as disgusting and now my family has a very bad stomach ache.. calling Virginia food inspector tomorrow to file a formal complaint.

A thousand stars to the girl who just put my to go order together. Needed extra celery and carrots for "crunch" and she was so sweet and said she understood even though I was being ridiculous 😂 and I had all the extra carrots and celery in my to go bag 🫶 wings were delicious, hot dogs were even better☺️

It’s old school Vienna. I first went here 20 years and it’s never changed (that’s a good thing). I always get the chili dogs and fries. Outstanding. It’s cheap bar food done well. Atmosphere and service great. If you’ve want to take your kids and friends out for food- this should be your first choice.

Sure, they've got a telephone booth. What if you needed to make a call during your meal?

About 35 years ago, when I was first stationed in NoVa, I took my Mom to Vienna Inn for breakfast (I lived in Springfield, but she grew up in Vienna and wanted to re-visit the old spot). She passed away this morning and even though it was a 44-mile one-way trip, I had breakfast there to remember her. My lovely waitress Chris was just a sweetheart and took great care of me. I'm 67 now, don't get to Vienna very often, but every time I do, I'll be stopping at the Vienna Inn.

I had the chili dog and the chili mac. If you find your way past the legendary Vienna traffic and are hungry. This place is a must.
