A staple of Vienna, VA, you know this dive bar if you're a local resident or a sucker for cheap chili cheese dogs and beer. And that's what this place does. It knows what it is and hasn't changed since it's opening which gives it a special appeal. If you're looking for this spot to be a pristine shiny bright bar like Cheers, well, that's not it's style. It's a bit dark with the chess/checkered floor tiles with tables all around surrounding the bar area. But you do get a Cheers vibe with all the locals/regulars who stop in here for quick eats. As mentioned in previous reviews, all the servers are usually college students who make sure your beer is filled and you've had enough to eat. Eats start and end with their hot dogs, usually with chili and cheese if you're being proper. It's not the greatest chili cheese dog and sometimes you may wonder why you're ordering it. But the price and nostalgia always hit the spot and the taste reminds you why you're in here. Other eats I recommend are the wings (surprisingly good) and the fried zucchini (always eat your veggies!). Beer is either domestic or local brews that are Vienna Lager. Served in those classic cold mugs, the 80's-90's bar vibes hit once you pick it up and sip from it. Plus they are affordable compared to other places so that's a win in my book. As for other beverages, they have a serve-yourself soda station so you can get as many fills your stomach can handle. I make it a priority to stop here whenever I'm passing through Vienna and you should as well. Don't expect anything boujee; just enjoy a beer and a chili cheese dog here and call it a day. Read less

The service was friendly and quick. The food was pretty unremarkable. The loaded chili dog was fine, but basically gas station quality. Nothing exceptional about it. Fries were pretty good, not great. Fried stuffed peppers were okay. Tasted like a frozen grocery store appetizer. The vibe is like 50/50 old school diner and dive bar. No prices on the menus.

Love the Vienna Inn.  I first came here on Thursday September 24, 1992 after a failed attempt to take 3 friends up to the O’s game thanks to a faulty Alternator.  We broke down on 395 North just past the lowest point elevation-wise in DC.  After walking a distance to a Pay Phone to call a tow truck, the car was towed and a friend picked us up, and the decision was made by the others to bail on our attempt to see the O's and just go meet up with friends at the Vienna Inn, a regular stop for them since 1990.  The others all lived in Vienna and I lived in Falls Church at the time.  Lots of memories made at the Vienna Inn since that fateful night of my first visit and it changed my life forever.  From there I regularly went to the Vienna Inn on Thursdays with the group, perhaps 40 to 45 weeks every year, through marriages, babies, different jobs, and moves out of town.  I moved to South Carolina in 2022 and every visit back to Virginia my priority visit besides family is meeting up with our Thursday night group at the Vienna Inn.  The last visit was Thursday February 22.  Fries, Beers are the early staples to go with conversation and laughs. Dinner for me there is typically a self titled “Crisco” Burger… which is a bacon cheeseburger with American Cheese and a fried egg on top cooked to squirt in my eye on the first bite and we add a Grilled Jalapeno on the side.  This visit I just went with a Cheeseburger which never disappoints.  Picture included.  Also love to site along the wall of photos on the wall that parallels 123.  Marty the owner and his top notch crew of VI staff are always so kind and attentive.  The place is a Vienna original and stands the test of time.  Always coming back!

MOST RACIST PLACE IN VIENNA! as soon as my mom and I walked in, everyone (including the waiters) looked at us like we were garbage. I asked a waiter, if we could just seat anywhere, and she responded very mean with a yes and rolled her eyes at me. My mom and I sat down and everything kept staring at us. We were the only people of color in that establishment and it showed why. We didn't even get to order our food because the waitress never came to us and kept taking new customers. If you are not white, please don't go there. The ambience was completely cold and everyone was just irritated that two Hispanic women were with them.

I patronized the restaurant on a Friday afternoon and the parking was non-existent and the restaurant was very crowded. The service, the food and the prices were reasonable. I might go there again.Wheelchair accessibility: Even though it didn't pertain to me I didn't see a wheelchair accessible entrance and I didn't see any handicap parking.

An absolute institution. I hadn't been back to Vienna in 20 years, but when I was recently- this was my first stop. Pitcher of beer and hot dogs. What else could you want in life?

As diners go this on the third D of the triple D if you know that show. No atmosphere so don't go for that. Seems like it could use a deep clean. Waitress kept forgetting things and self serve drinks-- water faucet broken? No prices on the menu and when we asked we were told well I can tell you them but nothing is very expensive. That was kind of true. For a hotdog and a two egg breakfast and the chip toast it was 30 with tip and most things are stereotypical cysco level stuff like the scrapple and sausage. But the kid loved the chili dog so it was fun enough for two stars.

Fries taste like McDonald's fries (take that how you may) Chili dog was good, but really is not anything too special. Staff was really great. A lot of parking. Good for what it is.
