Powell Gill Trotman

We can't wait to attend a concert here.

Local staple (Great American), food and service always solid

Excellent performance venue, but be careful of the weather. It's all open-air, so if it's hot and humid, so are you.

The buffet was the worst food I have ever put in front of me. Three bits of several items. I pushed it awake and left

Doesn't get any better than an evening with #DianaRoss.

Great venue, but there are issues. Saw Lyle Lovett here, great venue with good sound. Removed a star for the LUDICROUS pricing on beer/wine and the long walk to park. Removed another star because they SPAM YOU TO DEATH regardless of how many times you unsubscribe from their emails!

Great place to have some food then see a concert, recently saw the one and only Sting perform with his son.

The 2023 formal ball was great! The cocktails, dinner, live band and dancing were well organized.

A beautiful music venue. I sat in the General Seating area on the Lawn. This was for the John Fogerty concert. One can rent a reclining seat for $12 or so. It took a little bit to understand how to use it, but once you get the hang of it, it's a good seat. You get to meet other people on the lawn. One was nice enough to offer me a glass of wine. I accepted. Had some nice conversations with some others. The acoustics were excellent. They also have a big screen to view the stage, so one doesn't need to bring binoculars. It was overall an enjoyable evening.

Is one of the best sounding venues you could ever go to for a concert and it is just as cool and as laid back as you possibly can get. It's 5 hours from my house where I live and I at least once a year aa for a lot of venues. Man acoustically is one of the best places you can possibly think of. Performing it is very is very what do you call? It intimate okay, and it's actually pretty dang on big, but it hasn't a sense of intimacy about it. There's really, really cool and every seats a good seat. They've got enough projectors going but you can't go wrong with it whatsoever. No way, no shape, no high and a form. And you know you can always go to the lawn seats where you can bring food and lay a blanket and some lawn chairs out and have a good old time back up in the back. I would highly recommend it to anybody. It's worth at least experiencing one time in your life and it's been around for years. I remember going way back in college back in the early 80s but you know people were telling me about this place and I went to go check it out. It was like holy cow but anyway I suggest to everybody check it out. It's a national park and you can actually take the railway system into the park for the show and take the way railway station back to whatever station you left and pick your car up from there. You don't have to drive in which is really really cool. I just don't know the rails well enough to pull it off. But anyway, check it out people it's good

Very well organized, great shows. The drinks and food were great. I enjoy seating in the assigned seating in case it rains. You can bring your own food, blankets, etc. and sit on the grass for a much cheaper price, but you need to arrive really early to get a good spot on the grass.

Wolf Trap is always a pleasure. Great musicians, and every seat gets good sound, even on the lawn from where I took these pictures, but if you're on the lawn consider bringing binoculars if you have a pair.

It truly doesn't get better than an evening at Wolf Trap. Enjoying a BYOB picnic on the lawn accompanied with a beautiful sunset and a concert! What more could you possibly ask for.
