For a small town pizza place, the pizza was fantastic! Actually I should not qualify it as a small town pizza place! This place could hold their own with any pizza place across America. I went when the AC was out, it happens! The staff was very friendly and engaging. I highly recommend this place for anyone passing through.

We FINALLY got to stop here on the way home from Lynchburg (we always see it on the way up). It will be a more frequent occurrence to stop. The atmosphere is nice. A little busy on the front to-go side, but 2nd dining was nice. We had both Americana and Italian styles...everything was excellent. Service was attentive, friendly and on-point! Will definitely tell maps to route to Pit Stop.

Had to call 3 times to place order before someone picked up.Ordered one beef and one chicken cheesesteak stromboli...neither had the onions, peppers, and mushrooms in description. Totally greasy!. Had to throw most of it out.Same for onion rings ordered. Burnt.Called to let them know my disappointment. The person was going to contact owner and promised a call back, which did not occur. So I am leaving a review instead. I RARELY bother to do this, and only when something is good.Well there's a first time for everything!

It shouldn't take 10 minutes to be noticed WHEN IT'S slow and it takes over 30 minutes to get get your food after you order it. The cook is too slow so if you have an hour to spare I suggest you choose somewhere else to go

Ate here for the first time tonight and the pizza was so good and the service was great! Definitely will be eating here again.
Normally I love ordering pizza from here but as soon as someone answered the phone they put me on hold. I was waiting for over 10 minutes just trying to place an order for a single pizza and they never came back to the phone, so I hung up and called back and no one bothered to answer. I understand it gets busy sometimes but it would have taken 5 seconds to take my order.

The Pit Stop has a pretty good pizza, but I like the burger even more. The fries are thick and crunchy, and the salad is really good for those on a healthier eating plan. A patio and music venue has been added, which has a nice ambiance at night, and they get busy on live music nights.
