Beautiful setting and great customer service. This is a great place for a wedding, family reunion or corporate retreat.

I absolutely enjoyed my retreat at this location. I think that 8the fact the rooms were not updated did not bother me as much as the fact that they had appeared not to have been cleaned for a very long time. I brought cleaning supplies and cleaned grime off of the tub that appeared to be there for some time and easily wiped off with a little scrubbing bubbles. There were cobwebs that appeared to have been there for some time that a quick brook sweep could have resolved. I have been to other "campsites" where the sleeping quarters are more "cabin-like" and therefore I excpected some of these things, but because Airfield boasts hotel-style lodges, then i believe they should be regularly cleaned. The food and they way they served the food was great and the scenery is beautiful; especially the floating bridge behind the cafeteria. The staff is exceptionally helpful. I was a bit disappointed that the lifegaurd was on vacay so water activities were unavailable but basketball and pickelball took up our free time just as well!

Building was too cold, even after asking manager and waitress to turn down thermostat because of room being entirely too cold. Felt like we were in a cold meat freezer. Never served desert, bake chicken was tough, never was offered lemonade that was on menu as a choice between tea and lemonade. Not enough seating for elderly while waiting for wedding to start, employees hollering down open door to reception room when no one was opening door, unacceptable. Refreshments out on deck in windy cold sprinkling rain. No appropriate place to enjoy Refreshments beside outdoors. Tea had been setting too long watery no taste. The few seatings in lobby was old out dated, cushions worned out sinking in, had to strain to get up from sofa. Service poor, bride/groom paid for service not rendered.. Rating 1

I was in this location for a wedding. However, this place is about 9 miles off of the main highway. There was no phone service for most of the guests back there. I had no contact with the outside for two days. Those who did have service had to go outside in the middle of the night to complete a call. It's out there.
Beautiful place!! I've been there for two events now and it's always such a nice place. Getting there is probably the only inconvenient part because my GPS brought me to a nearby gun range

I came with my youth group for Jesus camp. Food was okay. The experience was great, and I don't think the beds have changed since my dad was there when he was a kid.
