Great beer list, and terrific signature cocktails, paired with some yummy grilled cheese sandwiches and crispy waffle fries, made for a delicious night out!

We had a wedding rehearsal in the private upstairs and it was perfect! Plenty of room private bar so we always had drinks while waiting for food. Access to outside and private bathrooms! They put up our slideshow for us and we were able to Bluetooth are playlist to the speakers. Wesley was on top of all the details and checked in prior to the event. The waiter was super friendly and a hard worker. The food was amazing! The spinach artichoke dip, deviled eggs, the crucible and smith your own burger was a hit! Highly recommend!

Great food. Accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Kid-friendliness: They will do half portions of anything on the menu for kids. My son love their grilled cheese and got to experience his first cheese-stretch!

Stopped in on a Thursday for lunch with friends. Promptly served tasty food. Crispy chicken sandwich with fries was superb. Shrimp and crab dip was very tasty. Served hot as the establishments name suggests in a cast iron mini pan. Interesting tables supported by unusual iron pipes - strong and inconspicuous unless you were looking. Good food and true to its name. Should have tried patio seating but only noticed it on the way out.

What a wonderful and welcoming place.

My family needed a last-minute space to gather and celebrate the life of my 97 yr old mom. We no longer live in Warrenton, but were recommended CICH by a friend.

We showed up after the funeral, and had a seamless and wonderful party. We all joined together in their private room upstairs and the space could not have been more perfect.

The owner & staff were incredible, compassionate, and helpful . They turned a very sad, difficult day in to a wonderful party for my family and friends. With their bluetooth speakers, I was able to play all my moms favorite songs throughout the day.

The food and drinks were delicious and the servers went above and beyond. Thank you Doug for making this day so easy and perfect and taking such good care of us on such a hard day.

Also, thank you to everyone at Cast Iron Craft House (the owner, additional servers, and event coordinator) who helped us that day. I highly recommend this restaurant/bar which is perfectly located on 2nd Street in historic downtown Warrenton, Va.

Cheers, Na Zdrowie, Stin Iyia Sou, Cin Cin, Slainte, Prost!!!!

I want to give my honest opinion because I want restaurants in Old Town Warrenton to do well. Love the atmosphere as it used to be Sibby’s which I loved. However they should spend a little more money on the chairs as they are what restaurants in Old Town Warrenton use for their outdoor tables, not for indoor dining.
Ordered a burger which was good. However the waiter (also the bartender) abandoned me after he delivered the order. I eventually went up to the bar to request my check. The ketchup bottle at my table was empty, the table next to me had none, finally found a bottle at another table that had a little left. I know this sounds petty but seems odd for a restaurant that features burgers and fries as their specialty.
I sat at the entrance which may have been the problem. The patrons in the main part of the restaurant seemed to be getting better service.

Honestly the most "meh" experience I've ever had at a local restaurant. The burger was overcooked and tasted bland even with the fixings. They say they're farm to table but the patty tasted like it was frozen. The fries are alright. I immediately wanted to change my mind and leave when I noticed the chairs seriously the tiniest and most uncomfortable chairs I've ever sat on. I don't care about aesthetics when the chairs are only big enough for a toddler.

Staff was amazing! The food was great flavor and large portions. Were wonderful accommodating food needs. Traveling through and will love to come back next time!! Downtown is beautiful to walk after eating.

We were so excited to try CICH for date night and what an underwhelming experience. Having one member of staff keeping bar and tending tables is a mistake. We chose to sit outside and were instructed to “tap on the window” by bartender to get his attention. Awkward! There wasn’t a menu for draft options and barkeep seemed inconvenienced by having to “read from his device” versus being familiar with offerings. We ordered the elote corn dip, which was incredibly bland and seemed microwaved, then staged in a cast iron pan. To really bring it home, the (burnt) tortilla chips were brought to us on a saucer. That’s right- a saucer. Not a basket. Not a bowl. A saucer. Which held approximately 12-15 tortilla chips. I almost laughed when it was delivered to our table. We couldn’t finish the small appetizer because we ran out of chips- the cheapest thing they most likely have in-house. We promptly asked for the check and had dinner elsewhere. The place looks slapped together without pride or care for aesthetics, which is also reflected in their service and food offerings. Bummer.
