My wife and I had a lovely brunch. The food was good, but Macie, our server, was exceptional. Her attitude was wonderful, and her suggestions , knowledge and service were amazing! We will be back with friends on my birthday she told us they will have live country music September 26. I’m looking forward to it!

I made a reservation to dine with a dear friend whom I’ve not seen in months. I arrived early and was greeted with enthusiasm. After I was directed to our table, Drew immediately greeted me. I made him aware that I was early and my friend was 25 minutes out. He was very focused on superb customer service and made me feel welcome while waiting for my friend. He told me about the specials. I was sold on the rockfish BTW. Drew was attentive but not smothering with regard to our dining experience. I hadn’t been to Denim and Pearls in over a year and I’m definitely a fan. The food was amazing. The sirloin was cooked to a perfect mid-rare. The crab stuffed rockfish was tender, flaky and flavorful. Bravo to the chef. And bravo to Drew. And the initial welcoming staff. You made this customer very happy and I’ll spread the word so others can enjoy a great dining experience!

Delicious food, great service and wonderful mountain views if you choose to dine on the patio. Our large party wanted for nothing. I had the scallops and shared some salmon. Both were tasty. I was told the steak was excellent as well. The bruschetta appetizer was gobbled in a hurry. We will be back.

Flies everywhere. Our server was beyond rude. There were flies on our rolls as the server put them on our table. We decided to leave at that point. They still charged us for the rolls.

Patio atmosphere at night was cool. Bruschetta appetizer was yummy but the short rib farfalle had no flavor. We took it home and added seasoning before it was edible. Service wasn't fast but was friendly

The wife and I spent a week in Warrenton trying a bunch of different restaurants. Everyone we spoke to said to give four places a try, and denim and pearl was one of them. The food was good, and the atmosphere is pretty chic. Whoever set up their bar knew that they were doing, and they have a great selection of reasonably priced bourbons.
The staff is the real problem, we just felt ignored and like we were an inconvenience. It’s took quite a long time to get some of our food, and just overall the servers felt a little chilly. I don’t know if they were just having a bad day or what, but it kind of soured my wife and I’s high expectations. We had heard great things about this place and it was just not a great experience altogether for the price point.
We travel around Virginia to the local towns in our retirement to try a bunch of different restaurants, and had heard great things about Warrenton fare, but so far the town hasn’t lived up to the hype overall. When we come back, we will give this place another shot and I’ll re-review.

Arrived in Warrenton after a long drive with our dog. Decided to order take but didn't want fast food. WE ordered the veggie burger with blue cheese French fries and the shrimp and sausage pasta. I was inside the restaurant just to pick up but the atmosphere was inviting and made me wish we were eating there. The food was excellent, and was a welcome change from the last few days. Even after I got back to the hotel, food was still hot, and the meals were excellent. I look forward to coming back and being able to fully enjoy.

My daughter and I go out for dinner once every week and this place was highly recommended to us so we decided to try it out a couple weeks ago. We did not have a reservation but the hosts were very sweet and ended up being able to fit us in.

When we sat down, we waited for about 5-10 minutes before anyone came to help us. Our server was Holly and as soon as she came to the table she was very stand offish and had the demeanor that we were inconveniencing her by sitting down.

After a very uncomfortable introduction, We ordered our drinks and she walked away. We were told that this place has amazing specials every night but none were offered to us. After our drinks came, Holly asked us if we were ready to order and my daughter said she still needed a couple minutes. To which Holly responded by rolling her eyes and walking away saying nothing. A short while later she came back and we placed our orders.

When the food came out it was good but nothing was special about it. We could have gotten better for cheaper at any restaurant in old town. My daughter’s food was cold and my food was bland. After we finished our meal we waited for a long time before our server came back to even offer us a refill. When she did, she grabbed our plates and we asked to see a dessert menu since it happened to be the day after my daughter’s 20th birthday. She very rudely grabbed the black menu on our table and flipped to the dessert page and pointed her finger at the desserts like we were too stupid to know. I asked if she could give us a minute and she walked away.

While we were sitting there I saw her talking very loudly with one of the other servers and it was obvious she was talking about me and my daughter. After this we decided we just wanted to leave so we asked for our check. We paid and left.

We both left feeling extremely uncomfortable and disrespected. My daughter has previously worked as a server and she told me she had never experienced such rudeness and hostility by a server before. We will not be returning and we really hope someone in charge is able to rethink who they hire to be the face of their restaurant because this was absolutely unacceptable.

Would not go back again. We went to this restaurant during the pandemic and really enjoyed the food, especially the mussels, so we were excited to go back and enjoy a nice lunch on our day off from work. Upon entering the restaurant, no one greeted us even though there was bartender, a waitress, and another guy working on something near the front of the restaurant. We waited at the host stand for few minutes until someone saw us and we were seated.

The first thing we noticed was all the flies everywhere. It was so bad that I had to constantly swat them away with my hand when they landed on me and of course when the food came, it was a game of Wack o Mole. This is an indoor restaurant with outdoor seating as well, but there should not be that many flies getting into the restaurant. It would seem that they are breeding within the restaurant for the many that we saw. The restaurant really needs to address this asap. Even the waitress bringing our food complained about the flies.

The food we got was mediocre at best and the salmon I got was absolutely horrible. For $24, I would expect a fresher tasting salmon. The Rice Pilaf and Green beans that came with was pretty bland. With that said, we really did enjoy the shrimp taco appetizer.

The server tried her best to serve multiple tables inside, upstairs and outside tables and it was too much for her to handle. We waited a long time to get refills on our drinks. I had to ask the bartender to get us some plates as we had tacos for appetizers and didn't want to spill anything on the table since no plates were brought to the table.

Unfortunately, we were really disappointed with our experience. I think with a few fixes, addressing the flies, acknowledging patrons immediately when they enter and not serve semi fresh fish would certainly help.

When we visit family in Warrenton on a Monday, we try to catch the Martini and Mussels special. Mussels are always good, but this past week they were excellent. Nice size PEI sourced. Although there are several options for the broth, we love the white wine garlic classic. Additionally, the bread seemed better this week than ever before. This is a not to be missed opportunity.

I've had dinner, lunch and brunch here, and plenty of drinks. Always good... Today Wednesday I go in around 2:00 in the afternoon to have a drink and an apetizer. I order an Orange Crush... No, was the response. You don't know how to make one? Oh, I do but, we only serve them on Sundays for Brunch. OK, I'll go across the street and have one there and when I'm in the area I'll continue to go across the street.

I've heard before this place was like that but, I'd never experienced it but, now I can confirm... They're kind of rude.
