Was it the best Mexican food I've ever had? No. But the fajitas were solid, they had Negra Modelo on tap and the place is cozy. Staff is excellent and all Spanish speakers as far as I could see. I would come back if I found myself hungry in Warrenton again.

My visit to this restaurant on Monday, 11/10, started off great—the food was genuinely excellent. Unfortunately, the entire experience was ruined because of the manager, Marlon.

In my opinion, he’s not friendly, lacks real leadership skills, and his behavior came across as unprofessional and uncomfortable. I also noticed clear favoritism toward one specific server, while he was noticeably less pleasant to the others. It created an awkward, uncomfortable atmosphere for both staff and customers.

What pushed things over the line was seeing him kiss that same employee right out in the open while I was eating with my young kids. It was creepy, inappropriate, and absolutely not something that should ever happen in a public restaurant, especially from someone in a management position.

The food was great, but this whole situation completely overshadowed it. If this is the kind of behavior allowed by management, I won’t be returning.

My husband ordered birria tacos with beef and the beef was not slow cooked. The meat was tough and hard to eat. We tried to exchange it for something else and the manager was MIA. The kitchen also wanted to charge us for food that we couldn’t even eat. Working in the food industry throughout college, the best restaurants always have a manager on site who makes sure to train and watch their servers and expedite the kitchen. Service was fine but management needs to do better.

Some people say the greatest of Tenochtitlan fell in 1521. They were wrong. The splendor of the Templo Mayor lives strong in Warrenton Virginia. Next to the towering kingdom of Seven Eleven rests the even taller tower of the locally beloved Fiesta Azteca. Inside this glorious bastion of Aztec bliss is what many are calling “the Disney Land™️ of historic Mexico in the Continental United States.”

The service is fit for Emperor Montezuma II.

The food? Rivals any tamales, tacos, or tortilla stuffed with deliciousness you have laid your supple lips to.

But by far, by far good people of Aztlan, is their margaritas offered in medium and large. The large is mucho grande and will give any grown man or petite frenchman a run for their money. It is a must.

10/10, would sacrifice a friend to Huitzilopochtli to eat here again. For real, check it out. Reasonably priced.

It was ok. The ceviche and guac were delicious, but the salsa was pretty bad and tasted like plain canned tomatoes. It was also a bit pricey.

The service was good, as most Mexican typically are. I ordered Carne Asada tacos, which came with neither rice or beans. Considering how much the price was they should have been included. What was more disappointing was that there wasn't very much of the Carne in the tortillas, which was obscured by the cilantro and onion. I won't be back!

BUYER BEWARE!!
I went to the restaurant since I am new to the area and ordered a La Platona and Skinny Margarita and the price in the menu showed $12.49 for each drink. Wr also ordered the three taco meal.
When I got the bill I was charged $22.50 for each drink.
So a bill that should have been $50.00 before tip was $104.00.

I will never go to the restaurant again and neither should anyone else.

I haven't eaten anything there before.

Living in the neighborhood across the street, having this nearby is really convenient when I have zero interest in cooking. I've had lengua tacos and Burrito Jalisco (which is incredible). My kids tend to get birria tacos. I'm a basic bish when it comes to margaritas and their top shelf offering is quite good. Last week my son and I got the Nachos Manolos appetizer and that could have worked as a meal in itself. The food is competitively priced and I can tell they use good ingredients. Only gripe I ever have is sometimes the floor isn't as clean as it should be. I could tell a family with a young child had dined in that booth before we did. I would also caution you that parking is in somewhat short supply.

Ordered the Filet mignon a la pimienta- just perfect! Served with a graceful smile.

Drinks way late, food didn’t even get started until after an hour of waiting and we complained, then wax paper was found in rice! After second complaint to manager then my card was run for nearly 10x what agreed on. Some shady practice!
