Jackleg Pizza Company is a hidden gem, easy to miss but highly recommended. It is a family-owned establishment, with the owners providing very friendly and excellent service. They are consistent in taste and quality, with a commitment to fix anything that does not come out as expected. The restaurant has a really cool vibe, with tables for eat-in and a cute little cozy couch in the corner. It is primarily a take-out place, but with a brewery next door there is always a place to sit and eat. They have an arrangement to provide pizza at the brewery next door and will literally deliver it to your table.
The pizza is some of the best, with perfect sauce and crust made from fresh dough. They offer sourdough, NY style, and Chicago thin style crusts. Popular pies include the GOAT, which is a must-try with ranch, the Mamas favorite with whipped ricotta, aged mozzarella, bell peppers, sausage, and mushrooms, and the sausage and ricotta pie. Pies with hot honey are also enjoyed. The Kale Caesar salad is highly praised, made with baby kale lightly coated in dressing and topped with fresh shaved Parmesan and crumbled toasted breadcrumbs. It is a go-to pizza place, serving quality food with well thought out flavors, and is considered one of the best pizzas ever.
