Highly recommend! The wines were all versatile, surprising, and unique. The service was amazing and the ambience screamed “Greece”. I signed up for a membership and will be spreading the word about this place.
The Chambourcin is magnifico
Had a great first visit. Did a tasting and bought some bottles. Brought our dogs to sit outside. Beautiful environment and really friendly staff.
This by far is our favorite winery, and we've tried dozens so far. Mediterranean encapsulates everything one would think a working family vineyard is all about, and enhances the wine tasting experience to the umpteenth level! Their wines are fabulous, showing they take pride in what they do. Mr. Pop Papadopoulos' alone is worth the visit - he and his wife pour their heart and soul not only into the wine but into the customers - making you feel right at home. The winery boasts an incredible scenery and front patio with an extraordinary view of the vineyards sloping down in front of the building, not to mention a side portico that shades you back to a place on the Mediterranean. All which has been lovingly designed and landscaped as if it were in the old country. This is a must for anyone wine tasting, picnicking or just wanting to have a relaxing afternoon. Of the many good offerings they have, a few of the must try wines include: Martina Rose; Chambourcin Red; Romance Red; and Vidal Blanc.
For years we have enjoyed coming to Mediterranean Cellars. Their wines are exquisite! And the beautiful setting is an exhale! The staff feel like family to us. Our favorite winery. ❤️

Awesome winery that we just happened to stop at while In the area. We had two flights and I can honestly say that I enjoyed all 6 wines that were tried. The setting is very neat and a little snap shot of what you might see from a vineyard in Greece. If in the area it's definitely worth the trip. Service was great. Only negative thing that could be said are the wine bottles are pretty pricey with most being $35-$100. That said though it's still one of the best vineyards I think I have been to
If you like beautiful settings, fantastic wines, amazing ports, awesome staff, then this is the place for you. We will give it 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This place was beautiful. I’m no wine connoisseur, but this place offers a variety of red and white wines. We liked the one we picked (Viognier) after going through the flights ritual. But the most captivating thing was NOT the scenery or our selection of wine, both of which were excellent, it was the service. This was the single best experience we have had in any genre of service industry since Covid began. The service we received was simply matchless.
Not sure how this winery has a 4.8 overall rating. The surrounding scenery is beautiful but the wines are the worst we have tasted since moving to Virginia.
My second time here and I know I’ll keep coming back, I enjoyed their selection of sweeter wines and the service was great too , Georganna was very welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable .
