My second visit to Mediterranean Cellars, this time with another couple, reaffirmed my admiration for this boutique winery nestled in Warrenton, VA. Having been here previously in the fall, I was already captivated by the spectacular views it offered.Located a convenient 20 miles away from home, this visit was all about exploring their wines and enjoying good company. As someone who typically prefers bourbon, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their wines. Two of us opted for the whites while the other couple chose the reds. Each sip was a revelation, highlighting the rich characteristics of the Virginian soil that the winery so passionately cultivates. In addition to the wine, we indulged in some bread and pizza, which were as delightful as the wines. The food paired beautifully with our selections, enhancing the overall tasting experience.Mediterranean Cellars is not just a winery; it's a family-owned establishment that brings a slice of Greece to Virginia. The owners' passion for winemaking is evident in every glass, especially in unique offerings like the Rechina, a Greek-style white wine that's a rarity in the U.S. This winery, with its scenic vineyard views and a variety of exceptional wines, is more than just a place to taste wine; it's an experience that encapsulates the essence of Virginia's wine country.

I tried 2 different wine flights here with various red and white wines. I don't remember the names of the wines but I liked the sweeter wines I tried. They also have some food options if you're hungry. There is seating both inside and outside. The winery did have a Mediterranean feel and the view outside was lovely.

Awesome winery that we just happened to stop at while In the area. We had two flights and I can honestly say that I enjoyed all 6 wines that were tried. The setting is very neat and a little snap shot of what you might see from a vineyard in Greece. If in the area it's definitely worth the trip. Service was great. Only negative thing that could be said are the wine bottles are pretty pricey with most being $35-$100. That said though it's still one of the best vineyards I think I have been to

This place was beautiful. I’m no wine connoisseur, but this place offers a variety of red and white wines. We liked the one we picked (Viognier) after going through the flights ritual. But the most captivating thing was NOT the scenery or our selection of wine, both of which were excellent, it was the service. This was the single best experience we have had in any genre of service industry since Covid began. The service we received was simply matchless.

Everything about this winery is 5 ! The staff are awesome and the wine is phenomenal! Hands down the most flavorful and fun wines we have ever had. A very relaxed and old fashioned ambiance! Love it

The place was nice and service was good but we did not care for the wine. I did a flight of wines and didn't finish any of them.

Not sure how this winery has a 4.8 overall rating. The surrounding scenery is beautiful but the wines are the worst we have tasted since moving to Virginia.

Winery and vineyard with an interesting take on standard varietals; chardonnay in the off dry, Moscato in dry, etc. Nice tastings available as are by the glass and bottles. Plenty of outdoor seating. Less child friendly than some other local places. Think Greece when visiting.

We enjoyed the huge selection of wines at this winery. I had a dry white flight featuring pinot grigio, riesling, and Moscato. Beautiful views and Greek style outdoor/indoor seating areas. Recommend a visit!

10/10 experience!!! We had such a wonderful experience here. We came for a wedding party celebration. Rebecca was so warm, inviting and helpful. She set up a beautiful table spread for us and allowed us to taste different wines to sample. It was such a beautiful property and there is ample seating indoors and outdoors. Highly recommend for friends, family and group gatherings. I can’t wait to come back!!

One of my absolute favorite wineries. The wine is amazing, the grounds are beautiful and the staff is so incredibly helpful and accommodating. They also have delicious Olive Oil that they import directly from Greece. Today we were expertly guided by Rebecca who is just incredible! We will definitely be back! Thank you for a perfect day!
