We have been stopping by Northside 29 for over 20 years. It is an updated diner with great breakfast food and a family friendly atmosphere! The staff is very customer focused! The food is always tasty and hot no matter how busy they are!! They do have vegetarian and gluten free options.. and their COFFEE is delicious for diner coffee!!! I encourage you to drop by and check it out! Have not had lunch or dinner here… usually traveling by during the mornings!

Absolutely disgusting establishment. 2 dead flies in my wifes drink to start. While the food was good... it took 25 minutes to get some pancakes to the table with only 3 other full tables... plus, the metal container with the syrup was scolding hot and couldn't even pick it up to pour. Clearly they just microwaved the hell out of it. We will never return. Dirty floors, dirty tables, and gross all around. Stay clear.

While I really do like this restaurant my last experience made me remove two stars. I had guests in from out of town and recommended we eat here. From the time we opened the door I knew it was a mistake. The seating host was gone and didn't show back up for a solid six minutes. After getting seated the waiter was just disconnected and clearly hated being there. While I love the French dip here my guest wanted to try other things and the waiter flat out said he did not recommend the food. It was hard to keep a positive attitude as he continued to either ignore the table or remind us of how inconvenient refilling our drinks was.
I have been here multiple times and had great experiences but yesterday was rough. I am not sure if Saturday lunch is just a bad time or if this waiter was in a mood. I have never had this waiter before but I am normally here in the evenings rather than for lunch. Hopefully this is an easy fix and I can move my stars back up but for I am keeping these reduced.
Good food. Plenty of room in-between regular mealtimes.

I love this place! Lately the service has declined. I will continue to support. Please take time to train your young staff. They are all courteous but not responsive. I sat alone outside for 30 minutes after finishing my breakfast.
