I went there for the first time today for lunch as I wanted to try it out. I ordered the pulled BBQ chicken sandwich with sweet BBQ sauce and a side of fries. It is one of those restaurants purchasing system that almost forces you to add a tip to the meal, so just remember that prior to making a purchase. The prices weren't bad but ended up being about 16 dollars without a drink.There was nothing wrong with the Chicken Sandwich, but I would have liked 2 or 3 times more sauce than what I received with it (it is served on the side). I probably could have asked for more, but the staff was busy in the back, so I ended up eating a fairly dry sandwich. The parts that were covered in sauce were 5 star.The fries were also seasoned and cooked well and were a fairly decent quantity so you could probably share a side if you came with 1 other person.It is a nice and clean interior. There just happened to be a fly bothering me half of my meal, but I was likely just unlucky as someone probably let it in the door.Overall my experience was pretty good and I would eat here again, although I definately will ask for more sauce next time.

I ordered a smoked turkey for the holiday as well as brisket and pulled pork for the day before. Let me just say if you've ever wanted to eat a juicy, flavorful turkey, Shawn's should be your choice. Rave reviews from all at the table. As far as the brisket and pulled pork, I now have a new "go to" place. Thanks so much for helping make the holiday easy and memorable.

My wife and I had driven by the location for a while and decided that tonight was a BBQ night! It was about 6:30 when we stopped in and it has limited seating and was busy but we found a seat. The menu is typical for a BBQ restaurant and we settled on sharing the “Pick 2”. With pulled chicken and brisket, along with macaroni and cheese and slaw. The portions were generous ( not huge but more than I anticipated). The brisket was outstanding and the chicken very good! The Mac and cheese was very creamy and rich! The meal with a drink was right at $25 and filled both of us up. We will be back and I recommend you give it a try!

We used to love coming here one evening a week and never again. The last 3 times we were there the Mac and cheese was not cooked right and the meal was just not worth the money. They need to retrain their staff

I’m giving 2 stars because we frequently go here and love the food. We’ve had bad experiences in the past with delivery so we’ve learned that picking up is the way to go for a correct order. It’s 7:30 and we picked up our food, I got in the car and opened our bag to make sure everything was correct. The fry orders were pretty skimpy. I went to turn around to go inside to pay for another order of fries, and the doors were LOCKED. It was 7:35 pm and they must have immediately locked the doors after we left. I looked online and they close at 8:00pm so why are the doors locked at 7:35? So my boyfriend and I had to drive to Popeyes and order more fries because we could not order more fries at Shawn’s. We keep trying to be reasonable with the mistakes of this small business but I’m not sure how much longer we can accept this.
Let me tell y'all the tacos which I had chicken and brisket were the best and the pork and Mac and baked beans were the best ever

Very good food! I shared a junior plate (feeds 2) and was very impressed with the tenderness of the food and tastiness overall. Ribs were a bit dry but the brisket was absolutely amazing. Some of the best BBQ in town no doubt.

Placed a large online order, we had to wait 29 minutes after scheduled time, 2 items were missing and the meat was cold. When I called the store to get a refund, the re-charged me again.

Should have known something was up when we arrived at 630pm on a Saturday and there was one couple dining. I ordered the ribs, mac and cheese. The ribs were dry and old. The mac and cheese was mush. I took it back and the baked beans. The baked beans were disgusting, too sweet.My husband got the brisket and french fries. The brisket was fatty and the fries were fried in old oil. I let the cook know about the food. All he said was that he was sorry. Didn't offer a refund at all. I never go here again.

Shawn's was the place we would go when we wanted good bar-b-q. Now I don't think I'll be back. There isn't anyone out in the dining room and I actually knocked on the door to the kitchen numerous times before someone came out. The people were nice enough. The food was cold when brought to our table which they apologized and brought us warm food. The place is not as clean as it used to be, from the dining room and especially the bathroom ?. We were very sad that it deteriorated so much! Someone needs to step up and really care. ?
