Taj Palace Indian cuisine

So, we have never felt so ignored and insulting in any of the restaurants we have dined before. The guy at the counter who wasn't in the uniform( rest others were in black) didn't treat us respectfully yesterday. He greeted first made us sit at the table it went OK at the start but in a few minutes it went awful. I called him nicely twice coz I needed a highchair and he literally ignored and made a face and went to the next table to serve. He acted as if he didn't hear bur it happened twice!! Next again my husband called him and he AGAIN ignored and moved to serve ppl at other tables. Later he went on to ask other server to serve us who were great and atleast not ignoring and with a smile. This particular person had a problem the moment he saw us I suppose that's why he treated us this way or he simply hates Asians dining at the restaurant. If you don't want Asians to dine in at your restaurant you should simply mention. People come to dine only if they can afford to pay n eat and in return we expect a smile. Food was great no complains.. other staff were good except for this particular guy who ruined the whole experience for us at this restaurant.

I love Indian food. Love spicy food. Place was nice and cozy. All the staffs were nice and decent. Food was really fresh, tasty and delicious. Very good place to dine with family and friends. We gonna definitely visit in every weekend. Love u guys??

Just had a great dinner here! The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. Just enough heat, and lots of flavor. I highly recommend the lamb curry and tandoori chicken to share between two people. It made for a nice mix of flavors and the perfect amount of food.

We had a delicious meal, thanks to PK and Rocky. Definitely recommend the vegetable pecora and garlic Naan. If you ask, they'll bring you some extra spicy chili paste to spice up your meal!

Some of the BEST Indian cuisine I've ever had. The staff was very nice and very attentive. The food was hot, fresh, and DELICIOUS! Sitting outside on their patio and enjoying some fresh air was also a great experience. It was well worth the 1.5 hour drive for dinner. I plan to go back again next time I'm out in the DMV area!

Absolutely delicious. I don't know if there is other Indian food and Warrenton are not, but it is one of the better restaurants in town for sure. Five stars all the way. They do an excellent job with gauging spiciness levels.

Vegetarian options: I LOVED the Aloo Saag.

Food was decent, but service can definitely be improved. Everything used to be great here and has definitely went downhill. I got a mango Lassi and it was not good. The lassi didn't even taste like anything. I went back to get a new one and the owner seemed annoyed. He gave me one where he added more "mango" and gave me the cup with no top. I had to ask for the top and then had to wait and ask for a straw; obviously he was annoyed. So disappointing. I've had better food and service at other places.

The best Indian from Maryland to Charlottesville! Garlic Naan was incredible -- so light and bubbly. Vegetable Pakora was tender, and expertly cooked! Entrees were the best we've eaten at any Indian place. And we love Indian so we've been to a lot of places!

Roshan was amazing at helping us choose the menu to A1 customer service. I am vegetarian so I choose Tandoori Paneer Tikka and Cauliflower Manchuria, both of them were top class. It tastes yummy and the servicing size for each would suffice two people. For the main course I had Malai Kofta which again was amazing and finally had the vegetable Biryani which was okay too but was more like peas pullav(ordered hot spice was low spice for me). We ordered High spice for all other dishes, which was equivalent to medium spice as per Indian spice level which is what we needed. Food was so satisfying and was freshly cooked. I was only unhappy with was mango Lassi and veg biryani.

Vegetarian options: Quite good vegetarian options starting from tandoori, appetizers, to main course.

Outstanding! We went for dinner and instead of bringing home a few leftovers we ate everything on the table. Can't wait to go back to try the dishes we didn't order tonight!

This was such a totally enjoyable cuisine and cultural experience, and on our 1st visit. The food was all delicious! The staff was very friendly and helpful!

They guided us through the wide variety of Indian food options. We had the Taj Butter Chicken and Chicken Mughlia Korma; garlic naan; an Indian lager. The waiter brought over on his own a delicious Indian Chai tea. The whole experience could not have been any better. 22 May 2024
