Being from the Northeast I was a little skeptical. I have been fortunate in my business travels to have eaten Pizza in Long Island, CT, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Brooklyn etc. first bite was wow. Real cheese, tangy, and a crust alone that could be a meal. Excellent. Slices are huge 15” long by 10” wide.

I have been to Bennys many times as I’ve lived in Waynesboro, my entire life normally the atmosphere is very uplifting and joyous, however I went in about 45 minutes before close and the young lady who had red hair and glasses, was extremely hasty and seemed annoyed by my presence never have I had someone especially someone who works at Bennys treat me so dismissively I’m not saying I needed above and beyond, but she could at least try to not be so annoyed by basic Customer service. I literally got two slices of pepperoni pizza and left.

The best thin crust pizza I have ever had. The pizza slice is gargantuan and yet the thin crust on each of the 3 different pizza slices was perfectly cooked all around and did not sag towards the center as often happens with large slices.

This place is awesome. The People are so friendly. I’m re writing this review because I just found out the wonderful gentleman’s name that took care of me today. John. Shout out to that guy he’s a great soul and really knows how to make people smile. With great service and a great attitude. He made my day.
If you are looking for value and great tasting pizza without all the “BS”… this is the place! I have never had a bad slice at this location. The staff are always polite and welcoming.
