Amazing cheeseburgers...and Brunch burger! Clean restaurant, friendly atmosphere, wonderful service! Go hang out! Such a great place to stop during our trip!

We’ve eaten at DAPS countless times, but today was the first since new ownership. I decided to take my toddler and infant out on a mommy and me date where we landed at DAPS for lunch. We were immediately met with kindness from the owner, Dave, and prompt service by the staff. This was my first time taking both kids out to eat by myself since our second was born. To say I was nervous for what was to come is an understatement. Because of the kindness and help I received from Dave while at DAP’s, I will forever recommend them! He engaged with my daughter to make her feel welcome, made sure all of our needs were met, and went above and beyond to help this mom juggle two littles and their needs. The food was delicious, but feeling welcome and the kindness that was shown to us left a bigger impact. Thank you all and we will be back!

Always friendly. Ice cream is amazing. Food is like At a baseball or football game. You go there for the ice cream.

Literally JUST walked into this business for the first time today with my husband. The two kids at the counter DID NOT greet us at all. We stood at the counter as they laughed with each other and looked at us. Never spoke or asked if we needed assistance. We walked right out! Very rude and unprofessional. Waste of time and energy going in there. Total regret.

Great chicken sandwich and the fries were really good. A "put your own dressings on" bar is available so you can customize your own sandwich. Decent drink choices. Decent prices. Only bad thing... the shakes we ordered were made well but the ice cream was apparently stale or 'freezer burnt'. We didn't go back because we hadn't taken our first drink till we were on the road a bit. By then it didn't make sense to return.

Food was average fast food. $60 for 3 people was a lot for this quality of food. Burgers tasted frozen, chili and cheese on the fries tasted canned and not edible. The only thing to salvage this meal was the cheesesticks...they were great!!!

The prices are very up there for this type of establishment. It was very clean employees were very polite and nice but the prices were a little steep it's not somewhere I could go on a regular

This place is delicious and the staff was very friendly. If you have a big appetite, there is plenty to satisfy the level of hunger. You get a burger, and you have a fixing bar to put what you want on it. Onion rings are the way to go. Personally, the fries are generic but it's not a deal breaker. Ice cream top notch. If I come through here again I am definitely stopping.

June 25, 2024 - If you’re in area of Stuart’s Draft ( outskirts of Waynesboro) in search of a good ice cream place. . . Dap’s is GREAT !

They carry Hershey’s Ice Cream, with 40 flavors of real creamy hand dipped freshness! Whether on a cone, or in a cup they’ll fix it up for you!

Reminds me of the old Happy Days tv show! A place where high school kids would go to meet their friends for burgers, fries, and milkshakes! The owner Phil Witry opened this niche spot in 2015 , and he’s still telling stories and giving out travel tips to visitors. Matter of fact he told of us several places to visit around Waynesboro & Staunton! Thanks ! ???

Dap’s is worth the stop for great Ice Cream, and diner style food ! Next time I’ll try their famous burgers!?
