Food tasted excellent, but was a little bit pricey for what you got. For almost 20$ for a hibachi plate you expect a little bit more.

Poor service -- we walked in the door around 12:30pm on a Sunday. We were not directly greeted, we just received a question from the hostess asking shortly, "how many?" The manager was sitting on the bench scrolling on her phone and did not greet us or make eye contact. We go to our table and sit for 7-10 minutes. There are only 2 other tables with customers at the time and our waiter walks past 3 times with empty hands without greeting us. When he stops at our table the only thing he asks is if we know what we want. My partner orders a chicken hibachi lunch but we're informed that they don't serve the lunch menu on Sundays (okay, that's odd). Now we are bummed because we don't really feel like paying 20+ bucks per entree. We decided to go home without eating here -- between the inattentive service and prices we decided to run to the grocery store and make food at home. When we were leaving, our waiter was laughing and loudly speaking to the man making sushi about how we were leaving because they don't have lunch, but in reality it was the inattentive and impersonal service that made us leave (from the hostess, manager, and rude waiter), not serving lunch on a Sunday was the icing on the cake, and then laughing at us put a cherry right on top.

Sushi here is CRAZY GOOD ! My husband ordered the dragon roll and it was delicious ! Works of art. I had chicken cashew and that was great, chicken was so tender. I gave four stars because the hibachi steak and shrimp lacked flavor. Prices for sushi is a little excessive. I forgot to take pics of the other dishes mentioned.

EDIT: Well, I originallly gave it 5 stars. When the restaurant first opened it was awesome. Food was more authentic, nice atmosphere, fun little tea lights and carved veggies and flowers on the plates. Now the cool, funky tree lights outside are broken and gone. No more pretty decorations on the plates. All the Chinese dishes have been so Americanized....soooo sweet that they are inedible...you can taste the corn syrup in them. Inside just looks old and rundown. Can't sit at the bar for lunch during the week. Inexperienced help. Such a shame. They started out with such a bang!Post from 6 years ago: Always awesome food, very fresh sushi, lots of variety, and nice atmosphere.

We love Silk Road! Great quality and variety, with freshly made sushi available all day. Having lived and traveled in the East, I am kinda picky about Asian food—but the dishes here are consistently tasty. My favorites are the fish or shrimp with black bean sauce and the spicy tuna tataki appetizer. The atmosphere has a classic Chinese restaurant vibe, including a colorful full bar. A great place to dine and just relax.

I ordered a spicy tuna hand roll and the owner told me that all spicy hand rolls had Mayo and Sriracha in them. I informed the owner that I had tuna hand rolls from Nobu in London and Japan, and they didn't have it in them. Avoid this place the food is terrible.

Outside is a bit unassuming, but inside is a cozy and well rounded asian fusion restaurant and bar.
