We’d been hearing some hype about this place and finally got a chance to check it out. We knew it would be good, but it exceeded our expectations! Fried chicken was great, and slaw and stewed tomatoes were excellent! Friends joined us and they loved their collards, hamburger steak, and sauce burger. Oh we also took home some of that banana pudding cake- yummmmm. Everyone was super kind as well. Can’t wait to go back!

While this was the best Virginia fried chicken I ever had, the wait was awful. I did not expect to wait one hour for my fried chicken. This was not during a lunch rush, but early afternoon around 1:20 PM. I do not know why there was a long wait as a restaurant wasn’t overly packed. Waiting this long cause me to have to cancel my afternoon plans as I was delayed an hour.
Since an apology was not offered for the long wait, this might be a common occurrence.
Highly recommend calling ahead to avoid long waits. Also recommend that the restaurant staff warn their customers if there is going to be a long wait. Many of them are used to fast food being delivered within 20 minutes of ordering.

This used to be our favorite place to eat ricky and trey are really nice. But today the employee at front counter was rude . Then she didn't even tell the customers they had no chicken breast. Gave us wings. Then caught attitude. Because that wasn't what we ordered. They need some new employees with better attitudes.

Wouldn't know what this place is like. Sat outside for 15 minutes no employees would come out to talk to me. Their phone lines are off. They just posted on facebook about them being open for national hot dog day. 11-7 today yet door is locked. UPDATE: THEY BLOCKED ME ON FACEBOOK! AFTER I CALLED THE OWNER OUT. CANNOT WAIT TO SPREAD THE WORD... Imagine making a mistake and not owning it! Here's proof I called even 10+ minutes after opening.

This was cool old style restaurant. I had lunch around noon and this place was just starting to get busy and filling up. I had the fried chicken and mac and cheese. It was great and I only waited a couple minutes before they called my number.
Keep up the great work! I love these style local restaurants and ill be back the next time I pass through Waynesboro.
