First time here. Heard great things about this place and have been told they have the best fried chicken. Love to try to support small businesses. Got the 8 piece family meal with sweet corn, potatoes with gravy, and Mac n cheese(takeout, the drive home was less then 5 minutes). The thigh was decent, the rest of the meat was quite dry. Everything was very bland. Restaurant was nice and clean, staff was pleasant, but I don't think we will be returning.

Today Friday January 31st I drove from churchville to this place a good 30 to 35 min drive one way to try the chicken cause I've heard it's very good. I got there a few mins after 5 for them to tell me they are closed but suppose to be open til 8. They lost a customer forever I won't be going back I will stick with KFC they never let me down like this ghetto ass place did and I wasn't the only one there people pulling in left and right if you can't have enough food for the day advertise the business as open at this time til sold out guess when the chicken is gone they are gone forget the rest of the menu

Just had a fantastic New Year’s Day special at The Barn Restaurant! The atmosphere is cozy, and the menu has something for everyone. While they don’t offer table service, the friendly staff and delicious food more than make up for it. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by!

Have followed them on FB since they first opened in Waynesboro and finally was able to go on a Thursday evening for dinner. Was very good food! We got the 8 piece family chicken meal for dine in with mac and cheese and mashed potatoes w gravy as sides. Had leftovers to take home. Highly recommend mac and cheese! We will definitely go back! Was decorated very festive for Christmas. You order at counter and pick up food when call your number.

4 stars because we like supporting local businesses. Maybe they had an off day today, the Mac n cheese was overcooked and cheese sauce had separated making it chunky. The chicken was overcooked and dry. Team members were very nice, clean establishment.
