Waited 10 minutes before being greated or even acknowledged.
Got the bacon wrapped scallops. 3 small to average-sized scallops. Over done. Chewy. Felt ripped off l because for $28 I'd expect 2 or 3 jumbo scallops, or 4-5 regular sized ones. To add insult to injury, the scallops were very overdone. I tried the alligator bites, and while salty, at least they were battered and fried well and more tender than the scallops.
Plating was wet.
On the other hand, My date's meal was the fried oysters, and she said they were good, not excellent, but good.

You're just not going to find a better restaurant in Waynesboro. Shrimp and Grits, the crab and chicken gumbo, and the corn hushpuppies are my personal favorites. Sorry I didn't take photos... but the portions are huge.. you'll have a to-go box i assure you.

Wise choice to come in at 4pm for a table of 8. Everyone seemed happy with their food. The tall young server did a great job. Gumbo was good. I got the ribs with collards, mac and cheese and a salad. The sides were the tastiest. Next time i may order just the 3 sides. Ve vill be baaack!

Multiple people asked the wait staff what I was eating because it smelled so good. Coconut curry shrimp with cashews. On top of jasmine rice, it tasted better than it smelled. Coupled with a really nice house made Caesar salad the whole meal was surprising and delicious.
The place is charming and the staff all seemed willing to engage everyone with whom they came into contact.
Fair Warning, I went at 4:30 on a stray Tuesday afternoon. By 5:30, place was packed!

What a fabulous dinner. We are down here until tomorrow and picked this as our last restaurant. Packed as the locals and visitors know this is the place to eat. The manager worked his ass off to get everyone seated. Smile on his face and friendly. Our waitress Dominique was as good as it gets. Now to the food. The steak and shrimp and what seemed like a 1/2 pound of mashed potatoes and green beans were exceptional. I have eaten steak at plenty of steak houses and I’d come back here first. Oh, and an excellent Caesar salad came with the meal. All for $28.00!! The key lime pie was huge and perfect. My girlfriend had pasta and it was delicious. If I didn’t live 3 1/2 hours away from here, they see us every week. If you come to Waynesboro, come here.
Our server Brittany was fantastic!! She was everything you want a server to be….. patient, informative, and caring. After we explained it was our first there , she took the time we needed to make the best choices on the menu. Her suggestions were spot on however the portions were huge and I could not eat the whole plate. Delicious as they were.!!!!! The atmosphere was great and live music made it even better. I will suggest this restaurant to anyone in the area. Shout out to the staff at Best Western in Waynesboro for suggesting this delicious restaurant.

We eat at Green Leaf twice a year. We stay in Waynesboro on our twice yearly trip from Maine to Myrtle Beach only to eat at Green Leaf. We have never been disappointed by anything we have ordered. The food and service are perfect. Prices are much lower than expected for the quality. Waiting for a short time for a table is well worth it. It is one of the finest restaurants and finest foods we've ever experienced. The chef and crew are amazjng. Thank you for being in the restaurant business!!!
