Our server Brittany was fantastic!! She was everything you want a server to be….. patient, informative, and caring. After we explained it was our first there , she took the time we needed to make the best choices on the menu. Her suggestions were spot on however the portions were huge and I could not eat the whole plate. Delicious as they were.!!!!! The atmosphere was great and live music made it even better. I will suggest this restaurant to anyone in the area. Shout out to the staff at Best Western in Waynesboro for suggesting this delicious restaurant.

We eat at Green Leaf twice a year. We stay in Waynesboro on our twice yearly trip from Maine to Myrtle Beach only to eat at Green Leaf. We have never been disappointed by anything we have ordered. The food and service are perfect. Prices are much lower than expected for the quality. Waiting for a short time for a table is well worth it. It is one of the finest restaurants and finest foods we've ever experienced. The chef and crew are amazjng. Thank you for being in the restaurant business!!!

I had ordered a takeout and there was a missing item and a someone order mixed in, it happens sometimes. Not a big deal. I realized it after reaching at my motel, I went back and everyone was so courteous and apologizing, they doubled my order. I have not been treated with this level of respect and kudos to the entire team working there. It's only 400 miles away from where I live, but one more time I will visit this place.

This was our first time here and my husband and I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We dined on a Saturday and they had a live guitarist which was very relaxing.

Why are you reading this? You should be at The Green Leaf Grill! Visiting from out of town and found this gem downtown. Expectations exceeded. I had the Pan Seared Duck Breast with mashed potatoes and sautéed green beans. Exceptional! Great service and great vibe. Live music was tasteful and not overbearing, loud enough to hear over restaurant chatter but not so loud you couldn't have a conversation. Prices were reasonable to boot! Bravo, Mr. Leaf!

Absolutely love this place, the food is outstanding, the staff welcoming and friendly and has the perfect atmosphere to wind down after a long days work. It's become the go to place while working in Waynesboro.

We were on vacation and found this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We were there around 5 pm on a Friday and the place was very busy. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table which was great. Once we sat down our sever came by to take our drink order and ask if we wanted a starter. So we ordered a starter which we never received, and my husband ordered a drink off of their specials menu. The waitress had to come back over to verify what he ordered. It seemed like she was not familiar with the special menu at all. So then we order our dinners and again the server had to come back over because she wasn't sure if she had my husband's order correct. Again it was very busy, but this seemed again like she didn't know the menu. It was very loud to the point that you couldn't have a conversation without yelling at one another. The food was good, but the atmosphere needs some work. Something needs to be put in to dampen the sound. Given the choice I would probably not go back.

We met a lovely older couple who were going to dine here, and even though we’d already eaten, my wife and decided to hit the bar for a round—or three—of cocktails. The couple had waited nearly 35 minutes for a table (no pre-reservations here), which says two things: the food is worth it, and you should probably grab a snack before you arrive. The bar crowd was mostly locals—super friendly, good vibes, no tourist traps in sight. The atmosphere? Spot on. If you’re in town and don’t check this place out, your taste buds will never forgive you. Still giving it 5 stars, even if we didn't taste the food.
