The cashier, Maria Teresa, is consistently rude and unprofessional. She waves customers off with her hand, basically telling you to be quiet, and does so with a stubborn, arrogant attitude. Instead of showing even basic courtesy, she consistently acts annoyed and uninterested in helping. Honestly, if she looks so angry and unwilling to be there, why is she even working in customer service in the first place? Corporate and management need to pay attention to this location because Popeyes food is great, but the employee training is clearly lacking in a big way.

Never have any special menu items, make you wait while they make something else while the other half of your order sits and gets cold. Store is always dirty and gross. Don't shop at this location.

Popeyes has undergone a noticeable decline in quality, particularly at the 6230-T Rolling Rd, Springfield, VA location in West Springfield. This specific location fails to meet the standards of other Popeyes establishments. Regrettably, Popeyes is not the same as it was a few years ago. The chicken served at this location tastes old and dry, lacking flavor, and I believe that the chicken may be past its expiration date or that there are issues with the cooking and preparation process. Orders placed online are frequently not prepared correctly. Moreover, the staff and management at this location are unfriendly, creating an unpleasant atmosphere that detracts from the dining experience. The appearance and taste of the chicken are unappetizing, with the skin being darker than usual and the texture resembling rubber. It appears that Popeyes has increased its prices to compensate for the subpar quality of its chicken. I would advise against visiting this location.

Went to order food online to which I stood there for about 8-10 mins without being acknowledged. Once I got my food I decided to eat there and found they had shorted me my strawberry pies. Didn’t even apologize just gave it, after saying they had to verify order. After eating some of the cold fries I went to ask for water and they said they don’t serve in establishment. Also found the place to be super dirty.
This is the location nearest my home so Ive been a numbers of times. At least the last two visits the chicken on the order was very-very dry and really not edible. I thought the last time was an anomaly but now I am not sure. I threw away all the chicken after a few bites. Not sure if the bad (overcooked and very dry) food is system wide or just this location is poorly managed. Also the Red Beans and rice was very minimal. The regular size cup is about 1/2 filled with probably less then a TB spoon of beans and a few Kurnels of rice on top. Im guessing too much enfaces on trying to profit (not throwing out old, tired or too small chicken pieces and half filling the RB&R cups) not enough on quality control. I think I am done with Popeyes, or this location anyway. Im editing now. I saw the managers response.... the food I was sold would not be up to nobody's standards, not just mine, I dare say you wouldn't eat it either. Throw old old tired chicken thats been sitting too long. When your employees find a piece thats too small, throw it out. Fill up those cups with beans and rice, stop trying to game the system and profit an extra 3 cents. Mediocre food rolls down from the top, and you are the only one who can reverse that. Do Better and you wont get bad reviews. Im not a Karen either, I think Ive done this (leaving a bad review) maybe 2-3 times in my life, only when service/food is really very bad and potential customers deserve to hear before spending their hard earned dollars. The Popeyes chain deserves better also.
Terrible service. I just asked for a cup of water and they didn’t give me. Not cool.
I only drive through to get their red beans and ricel for the protein. I only wish their chicken could be grilled
I usually get take out from this location and have rarely had an issue with the service or my orders despite some small hiccups.

Missing sandwiches, or wrong order given, called the manager and they were rudely screaming me on the phone the manager sounded African American, raised his voice and even cursed at me when asking simple question, I saw another review about this African American manager and I didn’t expect them to be right….
