We enjoy Checkers Restaurant! The folks are friendly and eager to please! Also we have several favorites on the menu, the catfish is an ample serving and delicious! The porkchops either fried or grilled, the hamburger steak, the chicken salad or club sandwich just to name a few. All delicious !! It's a pleasant place off Rt. 460 in Windsor.
Great service. They are a down home comfort food type of restaurant in the middle of a small town. The food was delicious! I had the hamburger steak w/onions & mushroom gravy & mashed potatoes. Served hot & fresh. It's a small place w/a big heart! Plenty of parking & a not so overwhelming menu. Breakfast, lunch & dinner available. Friendly & priced right. My mom, myself & my daughter filled up for just $63. Check em out of ur ever heading down...
The dinner choices were fantastic, my wife had the country fried steak and I had the chicken and BBQ pork platter. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
