I was really looking forward to trying Chick-fil-A for the first time, but my experience with the location on the UPike campus was disappointing. Despite hearing so much about it—almost like it’s a status symbol in our town—I couldn’t even find it. 🚫🍗 There’s no signage from any of the main roads near the college or even on campus itself, which makes it feel like Chick-fil-A doesn’t want the public there. That’s frustrating, especially since UPike is funded by taxpayer dollars—my tax dollars—and should be more accessible to the community. 💰🏫
The campus is old, built on the side of a mountain, and navigating it is already challenging. 🏔️ Without clear directions or signs, it feels impossible to find this Chick-fil-A unless you’re a student or already know exactly where it is. For a restaurant that’s so widely talked about, I expected better accessibility and inclusivity for the community. Unfortunately, my first impression of Chick-fil-A is not a good one. 😞

This particular restaurant is here on the UVA Wise Campus. It was established here to serve the staff and students. But a lot of people do not realize it is also open the public. There are no road signs nor even an exterior sign on the building. Parking can be a little walk but not impossible. Absolutely wonderful staff here as well as delicious food. Now that we've found it we will be back often.

This is a Chick fil A that is on the campus of UVA at Wise. It's very hard to find, on the 4th floor of a building. There is a very limited menu, Chick-fil-A sandwich, regular and spicy, Nuggets and fries. It is also serve yourself, which I did not realize at the time. It's meant for the students, and I'm sure they enjoy it. Unless I have an overwhelming craving, I'll drive an hour to go to a full service facility.

Great the food was good clean setting nice employees yes I recommend Chick-Fil-A to anyone nice to know that we don’t need to drive to Tn to eat
