Team Carolina Real Pit BBQ

Caught their food truck on my way to get some groceries from Food Lion and brought home lunch for the family. The food was delicious and everyone loved it. I’m glad I grabbed the food before I shopped because when I came back out of the store they had a good sized line. Hope to see them around again!

Drove all the way from colonial beach and found it closed. It was a Friday and sign says open on Fridays. Very disappointed.

THEY ARE TEMPORARILY CLOSED

We took a road trip to try this BBQ and it was closed. I relied on Google hours and reviews, but after we got home, we looked up their website and it's closed due to medical reasons.

While it was a disappointment, the reality of someone closing due to medical condition is a serious event. I hope whomever is down right now can recover. Not for the BBQ, for the loved ones, friends and family.

I wish I could give more of a review. I have had a gift card from them since last month. Each weekend, as they are open no other days and only open for a few mere hours have not been opened. Almost a whole month of weekend after weekend trying to go there. Up to the this weekend which has brought me to a boiling level, seeing the place was open i went down both sat and sun. Online open. In person closed.... now tell me how I'm supposed to get this food if im not able to go in? Open for like 3 hours 3 days a week and not even following that is quite ridiculous

Brisket and Wings were 10/10. No notes. Both cooked to perfection. Possibly the best we’ve ever had of either, and we travel around the country quite a bit. We’ve been to nationally renowned BBQ places and had worse.

The prices are quite reasonable to boot.

This place is going on our list of restaurants to visit next time we pass through. This is not a long list.

Unbelievably good bbq at extremely reasonable prices. Always make a stop if open on way too and from Florida.

Excellent!! My husband has brisket that would melt in your mouth. I had ribs that were the best seasoned I’ve ever had. The hush puppies were crispy outside and moist inside. The Cajun corn on the cob was wonderful. Couldn’t leave without trying the blueberry peach cobbler. Definitely worth the every bite.

I truly like traditional Carolina BBQ, have done the NC BBQ Trail in Southern Living. Team Carolina BBQ is excellent, as good as any restaurant on the BBQ trail. The pulled pork sandwich was extremely good, as were the beans and the hush puppies. This place had the feel of the BBQ pits we eat in North Carolina, felt like being home again. Very friendly management and waitress, treated us just like regular customers. Glad we stopped on our way home. Considering having them cater my retirement lunch and family gatherings... Food is always personal preference... but you won't be disappointed here. Oh, dress code is come as you are.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Michael and Team Carolina Barbecue during a recent event at our venue, The Timber Raille in York, SC. Michael demonstrated the utmost professionalism and care from start to finish. His respect for our facility and attention to cleanliness were truly appreciated—not a detail was overlooked. Most memorable of all was the incredible food—absolutely delicious and a standout element of the event. We would gladly welcome Michael and his team back anytime and highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional catering and service.

The best BBQ I've ever had outside of Texas!!!
The portions and pricing is very good.
My coworkers and I went here for the first time and all concurred, there was nothing served that was not delicious. We did not leave hungry.
Parking is a little tight, but absolutely worth finding a spot to squeeze into.
Wheelchair and assisted mobility friendly.

loved them since they were in caroline!! best bbq sauce and every side is amazing. recommend everything! if you don't want pork try the wings and collards

Showed up at 5:20 when they close at 6 they turned the lights off on me thinking he was going to open the door for me ??‍♂️ can ur hours or stay on time
