You have to eat here!! This place should be on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives!! It is that good. We found it quite by accident as our Jeep had broken down at the gas station across the street. Not only did we get food here, the owners were gracious enough to loan us a car until the Jeep was fixed the next day. They even recommended a hotel and car repair. Michael and Lisa are the best. We met some awesome people on our vacation to the south but these two were our favourites. Try the baked beans! Best we've ever had. I need the recipe Michael!!

Open only Friday through Sunday, this BBQ place is smoked to perfection and sells out like hotcakes! I came during lunch to ensure supplies would not run out before the dinner mob.Plain and simple: the BBQ Ribs and Mac ‘n’ Cheese were cooked how southern soul food is meant to be cooked. The ribs were so tender that no BBQ was needed, and the meat was so tender you might catch yourself eating the bone too!

Staff is very nice staff is very nice winning tonight this afternoon actually ordered a half a rack of ribs baked beans and coleslaw coleslaw and baked beans have no taste at all ribs not that great are tender but it's okay for the only barbecue place. Hush puppies were cooked too long almost to the point where they were burned up I used to run a barbecue restaurant in North Carolina but like I said it'll do

Eat Here! We eat at this location every Friday. The staff is always friendly, as are the GM and owner. I hadn’t found anything remotely good for BBQ in Virginia until we found this place. The sauces, pulled pork, brisket, ribs and several sides are amazing. The cornbread is great as well. I can’t say enough. It’s awesome! Thanks Team Carolina!
This is by far the best BBQ ribs and wings meal I've had within the area. The cheese fries topped with sausage was also a mouth watering occasion. The food quality is indisputable and I hopes that it remains that way until the end of time. The dining area is casual, family friends, and comprised of booths, tables, and a bar area on entrance. We came in the winter time where two staffers were holding down the dine in area and they were great and efficient in spite only being two. The decor is very genuine and veteran/ patriotic which is a nice touch to who they are and their spirits. Pricing is appropriate and I am willing to pay for good quality BBQ any day. Parking is off the side of the building and in front, the restaurant comes up quickly so be sure to slow down. I am contemplating on when to go back.We have enjoyed this place for sometime as we have used them for catering and their service is always friendly, prompt, patience and enjoyable! It is great to see them with their own restaurant building now, much deserved!

Pulled pork plates seemed to have been minced vs Pulled since last time eating here. Portions of barbecue doesn't coincide with the portion of the sides. All sides were good. However. wouldn't have ordered the home-made(?) banana pudding. As it only had a piece of banana in the maybe 4 oz Dixie cup for $3.50. A little pricey, for the quality and taste. You are supposedly handicapped accessible,, however, if I had not of had my portable ramp with me, we would not have been able to eat there. Something to consider this investment in , wgmhether you own the bldg. or just a tenant.Parking: Parking is good but handicapped spots should be closer.Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible by wheelchair or mobility scooter. Main entrance foyer has steps. Sidewalk at opposite end (exit) has a ramp BUT not from the sidewalk. You have to bring your own portable ramp in order to eat inside.
