The staff were very welcoming / friendly and answered any questions we had. I had their brisket burger, which I was a little unsure about since I don't particularly care for brisket but wow, it was delicious!

No vegan options as far as pastries go. The bread is what I come for. Sourdough is great.

Finally a bakery with professionals turning out high quality goods! Not your typical chocolate chip cookie/donut place, they have enough variety that sets them apart from anyplace else in the area. Lavender puff was phenomenal, cruffins and brownies are amazing, and everything looks and tastes hand made.
Service is pleasant and professional, the space is inviting and well kept.
Will be repeat customers.

First time here but definitely not the last time. The absolute best potato soup I’ve ever had in my life, the burger was great (I love a good burger). The desserts, though. Oh my! So good. Everything was just so good.
Really kind and attentive employees!
We got a Pistachio Puff and a normal Eclair both were very tasty. They're Espresso was so creamy and lush, my iced latte was lovely.
Not the kind of place I'd wanna hang out at but definitely a good variety of treats!

Food is amazing! They have the best quiche and always have new dessert options. This place is a weekly lunch trip for us!

The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious. The biscuits especially were light and buttery. I would highly recommend it for either dine-in or to-go!
The bakery case is so gorgeous it makes it hard to not choose one of everything! And everything we had was equally as delicious as it was beautiful. Had we not just eaten lunch elsewhere, the menu also looked great!

I don’t normally write reviews because, frankly, most places don’t deserve one. But Flour and Water? They’ve earned it. I’ve been here a bunch of times, and today’s experience was just as solid as the rest. Walked in about 15 minutes before closing, expecting the usual “we’re about to close” hassle. Didn’t get it. Instead, I got greeted with a smile.
I went for the Chip Dip Chicken Sandwich, some chips, and grabbed the sourdough bread for later (it makes killer egg-in-a-holes, and my wife’s obsessed with it). In ten minutes flat, the sandwich was at my table. And speaking of tables—this one didn’t wobble. I’ve walked out of places for that alone, but Flour and Water keeps it right. I like the atmosphere of this place. It has a warm country charm.
Now, let’s get to the sandwich: the chicken was crispy, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The crispy onions on top? Yeah, they nailed that too. The sauce? Perfection. The bread was toasted just right—not too soft, not too crunchy—and the sandwich held together with every bite. No falling-apart nonsense. It was layers of flavor, punch after punch.
And as good as that sandwich was, I didn’t feel like it clogged my arteries. I felt fulfilled but not weighed down, and unlike most chicken sandwiches, it didn’t make me tired. I feel downright silly writing a review about a chicken sandwich, but it’s very rare that a taste puts a smile on my face. And I’ve been to 30+ Michelin-star restaurants.
Bottom line? This sandwich was an explosion of badass flavor. I’ll be back. Flour and Water is the real deal.

If you’re ever in downtown Woodstock you have to make water and flour co. a must stop. I think I almost tried one of everything they had to offer in one stop and honestly each one of the treats were delicious! The owner and staff were very welcoming and super pleasant. I will make it a must every time I’m in town!
