We visited on a Saturday night in early November 2024 around 7:15 PM (8PM close). There was a group of teens who were just completing their order when we arrived and as we were leaving another couple of older adults showed up. So not super busy on this 50ish degree night. Only had window service and no indoor service. We parked on the street and went around back.

Atmosphere was great. Lots of fun theming, decor, decorations and lights. Even though it was dark out we felt safe the entire time. Plenty of seating out front and in back.

So many flavors and options to choose from. We ordered 5 milkshakes (Coffee Crunch, PB+J, Peppermint Stick, Red Raspberry Cheesecake and Black Raspberry Extreme). Every single one was amazing. Took maybe 5-10 mins to make. You order at window and they deliver from door on the back. We did not stay to eat and enjoy the atmosphere as it was pretty cold out. We took shakes back to our hotel room.

Service was fantastic. Staff let us try a couple of flavors before we picked which ones we wanted to commit to. Super friendly and patient with indecisive kids (and adults).

Price was reasonable for the quality you get. If we were in town or driving through, we would certainly stop by here again for a fun dessert.

Dietary restrictions: They did have sorbet available if you can't do dairy.

Parking: We parked right out front on the street. Looked to be 2 hr free parking. There was also a lot in the back it looked like but we had no idea how to get there.

Kid-friendliness: Many kid friendly items on the menu and lots of chairs and seating for kids to run around and not interrupt other patrons. Also fun cutout to take photos with in the front. I'd rate this high on kid-friendliness.

Wheelchair accessibility: There was a ramp up to the window in the back. From front or back of building it's completely flat paved concrete and would be easy for a wheelchair to get through.

EDIT Sept 2024: Ice Cream is still as good today as it was on day 1. The choices are incredible and the freshness makes it some of the best ice cream you'll find anywhere in the area. Don't delay and get there, today........ ORIGINAL:The one star review on here has to be from a competitor. This ice cream, first in Strasburg and now in Woodstock, is by far some of the best you'll ever try. The owner runs a very clean and nice shop. Is it the cheapest? Likely not but this is the case where you get what you pay for. You pay as much for Baskin and Robbins and this is much bettter.

Today was my very first visit since I had never been here before and I'm glad I finally tried a milkshake from this place. The employees were friendly and the milkshake was delicious and I plan to return!

I want to give a huge shout out to Sugar Creek Snowy and Sweet Ice Cream Shop for hosting an incredible outreach event to help Blue Ridge CASA recruit volunteers. The shop not only provided a fantastic space for us to connect with the community but also helped Blue Ridge CASA provide their delicious ice cream and shaved ice, which was a big hit with all ages!
The staff was friendly and accommodating, making sure everything went smoothly. Their support has made a real difference in our efforts to grow our volunteer base and raise awareness about the vital work we do for children in need. It is heartwarming to see local businesses like Sugar Creek stepping up to support important causes. Thank you, Melissa, for being such a great partner in our mission!

Ordered a strawberry milkshake. Since strawberry ice cream is on the menu I thought that is what would be used in my milkshake. Huge mistake. I realized it as soon as it was handed to me. The first 3 sips were nothing but strawberry syrup. I tried stirring it around but it was terrible. It was just soft serve with strawberry and syrup. And lots of it. My bf got a Reese’s blast that was also overloaded with stuff. We tossed both. What a waste of $20. I’ll never go back again.

Such a cute ice cream shop with a nice outdoor seating. Portions were generous. They had nice little buckets at each table with baby wipes and paper towels for easy kid clean up!

Sugar Creek Icecream is delicious and they have many flavors and options. They used to have indoor seating. However, as I learned today, they have repurposed their indoor space and now only have outdoor seating. For those like me, who prefer to eat their icecream as opposed to drinking it, this change in seating options is important information when planning a trip to Sugar Creek on a hot day (we arrived around 3pm).

Deliciousness in a cup.

They didn't have what I wanted but what I got was good. Proves seem a bit high. The seating area is really nice. Lots of outdoor tables.

I had there mixed Lemonades at the New Market battlefield and it was sooo delicious!! 5 stars is not enough!
