This place is Awesome! We got two brownie sundays. One with triple chocolate, ice cream and mint chip and the other with orange, pineapple, ice cream and mint chip. The sundays were outrageously delicious! The decor inside and out it is perfect! And the staff is delightful!
I ordered a brownie sundae. I don't feel that the size of the sundae justified the $9 cost. There was very little brownie, one scoop of ice cream and about a can of whipped cream. It was in a white Styrofoam cup about 2 inches. Based on the owner's response to my review, I must have been sold half of what I should have received...my misfortune. A+ for the decor, it's a fun environment.
Was here Saturday night and the staff was so friendly and gracious. They went out of their way to ensure the service was excellent. Can't wait to return soon!
This place is hands down the best ice-cream..... ever. Worth the stop 100%
Delicious homemade ice cream with many flavors to choose from!
I feel it was pricey but the ice cream was good. This is a nice spot for a treat but not a business I would frequent based on the high cost.
Such a cute, clean, & fun little shop.
I had the lemon custard and the banana pudding. I fell in love.🥰😋
Family favorite for ice cream. They definitely take care of you and the environment is friendly. We love coming here for a sweet treat.
Today, we went to Sugar Creek while visiting Woodstock, Virginia. They had a variety of flavors to choose from and had many tables outside and inside, which made the place very inviting. We took three different flavors. The flavors we took were Mississippi Mud Pie, Triple Chocolate, and Salty Pretzel. The Mississippi Mud Pie was chocolate ice cream bathed in a marshmallow fluff and topped with OREO crumbles and peices of brownies. Overall, this flavor was very good and was definitely the best one. The Triple Chocolate was your classic chocolate, topped with chocolate chips, and of course, more chocolate. It's very simple, but it still tastes wonderful. The Salty Pretzel was the perfect mix between sweet and savory. Vanilla ice cream fresh from a farm, topped with salted caramel and crispy pretzels. This flavor was very good, and I definitely recommend it. Overall, Sugar Creek is a great place to buy ice cream in Woodstock, Virginia.

We visited on a Saturday night in early November 2024 around 7:15 PM (8PM close). There was a group of teens who were just completing their order when we arrived and as we were leaving another couple of older adults showed up. So not super busy on this 50ish degree night. Only had window service and no indoor service. We parked on the street and went around back.
Atmosphere was great. Lots of fun theming, decor, decorations and lights. Even though it was dark out we felt safe the entire time. Plenty of seating out front and in back.
So many flavors and options to choose from. We ordered 5 milkshakes (Coffee Crunch, PB+J, Peppermint Stick, Red Raspberry Cheesecake and Black Raspberry Extreme). Every single one was amazing. Took maybe 5-10 mins to make. You order at window and they deliver from door on the back. We did not stay to eat and enjoy the atmosphere as it was pretty cold out. We took shakes back to our hotel room.
Service was fantastic. Staff let us try a couple of flavors before we picked which ones we wanted to commit to. Super friendly and patient with indecisive kids (and adults).
Price was reasonable for the quality you get. If we were in town or driving through, we would certainly stop by here again for a fun dessert.
Dietary restrictions: They did have sorbet available if you can't do dairy.
Parking: We parked right out front on the street. Looked to be 2 hr free parking. There was also a lot in the back it looked like but we had no idea how to get there.
Kid-friendliness: Many kid friendly items on the menu and lots of chairs and seating for kids to run around and not interrupt other patrons. Also fun cutout to take photos with in the front. I'd rate this high on kid-friendliness.
Wheelchair accessibility: There was a ramp up to the window in the back. From front or back of building it's completely flat paved concrete and would be easy for a wheelchair to get through.

EDIT Sept 2024: Ice Cream is still as good today as it was on day 1. The choices are incredible and the freshness makes it some of the best ice cream you'll find anywhere in the area. Don't delay and get there, today........ ORIGINAL:The one star review on here has to be from a competitor. This ice cream, first in Strasburg and now in Woodstock, is by far some of the best you'll ever try. The owner runs a very clean and nice shop. Is it the cheapest? Likely not but this is the case where you get what you pay for. You pay as much for Baskin and Robbins and this is much bettter.
