LOVE this little place! Perfect for lunch at Yorktown Beach. During the recent federal government shutdown, Carrot Tree offered a free lunch every day for federal employees who were not getting paid. CLASS ACT!

Absolutely awful experience eating at this restaurant. The coffee was stone cold and instead of getting what I initially ordered (Roast beef sandwich with horse radish.)
I sank my teeth into roast beef covered in blue cheese dressing and almost gagged it was so bad.

The pull pork sandwich was moist and very tasty. My husband had roast beef sandwich and it was delicious too. I had the potatoes salad and he had the carrot salad both a need to try if you want good food. The service was friendly and fast.

I wish they had something breakfast-like. The ice coffee was good. Service was excellent, very attentive and the server was familiar with the menu items which we found helpful. The food was above average. Fresh. Tasty.

Came in to try a baked good as an out of towner I was excited to patron the shop. But I was not treated very nice. I asked for a cupcake from the case and was directed to take one from the cooler in the lobby “ cause it was the same thing “ it was clearly not the same thing. I can’t understand why giving me the bake good I requested was an issue.
Absolutely wonderful! Food and service was fantastic! Early Spring weather was great for eating outdoors!

The food was excellent. The service was a bit slow. Although it was a beautiful day out, the tables could use some umbrellas to provide coverage from the sun.
