The food was mediocre overall. The salmon was not overcooked, but it lacked flavor. The mashed potatoes were homemade, but the tasteless green beans were canned. The server was friendly and professional. I won't return.
The service is amazingly quick, the food is usually quite tasty, and the atmosphere is very friendly. However, their prices have certainly gone up and their side portions have gotten much smaller. The small amount of egg on a platter, for example, is a little ridiculous considering the price. Also, I thought the French toast was a bit undercooked.
Cozy interior, classic breakfast/brunch style location. Huge menu with everything under the sun. Very busy when I arrived, and 4 others sat down at the bar at the same time as me but Gabby handled it wonderfully. I was checked on by multiple staff members to make sure I was taken care of. I got the chicken & waffle, food came to me in 5 minutes, 3 massive chicken wings, all piping hot and juicy.
