I'm sure this place my favourite in Yorktown Beach area. An atmosphere of comfort and relaxation accompanied by delicious European coffee and sweet treats. The preserved style of the old French tea house, the creaking of the wooden floor, the cozy attic( upper storey), it is very cute and attractive.

Stopped for lunch here in Yorktown on a beautiful sunny midweek day. The " Robert" sandwich special was wonderful, although took some time to prepare. This is not a place to visit if you are on a tight schedule...You have a choice of eating outside on picnic tables that essentially adjoin the colonial graveyard, or upstairs in the second floor of the building dating from 1720. The restaurant offers lovely bakery items and fabulous local roasted coffee as well.

Amazing building in which to enjoy and relish the food and atmosphere the owners created. The chicken curry wrap was mostly "wrap" and very little chicken, which was disappointing.

I had an iced lavender latte...it was very tasty. The roast their beans on site. Love the nooks and crannies/alcoves for sitting both inside and outside.Parking: Free parking lots are in select areas of the historic yorktown. Not too far of a walk from the shop.Wheelchair accessibility: Old building it is doable but tight. Better to sit outside and have a friend order as the staff will bring out your food/drink.

Love their food and the coffee. We always get a few bags of whole beans for home or the office every couple months. Wife and I make a half day of going to pick up our order by getting sandwiches and walking arround yorktown.

Excellent little local coffee shop and lunch spot. Originally stopped here for locally roasted coffee, which is fantastic, and stayed for lunch. Draft beer, wine, nice selection of sandwiches. The building is historic as well. Definitely going back to sit outside in the courtyard.

The coffee wasn’t that of somewhere with coffee in the name, it could be a lot better. The food was alright but again came for the coffee and was disappointed. Nice historic feel and all that tho and service was

Not sure if it were a bad day today, but the girl working the counter wasn’t very welcoming. I felt awkward standing there browsing the menu as I’ve never been in before. She barely said anything….Mediocre caramel latte. Needs more flavor. I could barely taste the caramel.

Great iced coffee, but they use paper straws, which really make me feel like choking. Always have to brink plastic straws with me. However, I do love their iced caramel machiato. Better than Starbucks and d&d

One of the most cozy coffee shop experiences in central Virginia. It’s a nearly 300 year old brick home renovated into a nice, homey coffee shop.

We’ve stopped in here twice while exploring Yorktown- once for afternoon snacks and a beer outside, once for coffee and a pastry upstairs in the old colonial building. We all enjoyed a hot cider on a chilly, drizzly day and were also thrilled to find gluten-free bakery options!
